I understand mistakes happen but in this instance we are dealing with highly sensitive, highly personal documents pertaining to an extremely emotional subject. Double checking email addresses seems like a small thing to ask. Perhaps The Salas Law Firm takes divorce lightly because it is just another day in the office, but for ME, it's a living nightmare, an utter embarrassment, and a complete catastrophe. And they have compounded all that by giving me a new nightmare to contemplate, embarrassing me further, and complicating an already insufferable process. So, I would like to register my EXTREME disappointment with this firm. Not only did I never receive the documents promised, but I had to find out from my soon to be ex-wife that documents containing my personal information and details of our divorce were sent to some random person. Supposedly this person sent them screenshots of the "unread" email and the empty inbox after he deleted the email. But anyone with a gmail account can open an email, download the contents, and mark it unread in 3 mouse-clicks. It seems to me that this breach of privacy may also constitute a breach in attorney-client confidentiality, which is extremely concerning.
