Something clicked in me when I walked by De Deli and I knew it was time to finally have a sandwich. The menu here had so many different options but when I passed by the spicy chicken thigh sandwich, I knew it was going to end up my belly very, very soon. We placed our order at the counter and proceeded to find a table in the well designed little cafe. This place is stuffed full with vintage art pieces, plants, and some of the coolest decor you can ask for in a small cafe. Once the food was served I knew I made the right choose, just looking at the sandwich had me drooling a little bit. The sandwich itself was a pretty large size being stuffed with greens and chicken, both of which had the most delicious sauce covering it and making it the perfect sandwich to have for lunch. Overall, De Deli might have been my favourite lunch stop while in Amsterdam. The staff here were friendly, the restaurant itself looked extremely comfortable, and the food was absolutely magnificent. 5 stars for the whole experience, I wish I was back here already.
