    Flank steak with fingerling potatoes
    Yasmin M.

I've primarily only ordered steaks here lol I had a fried oyster appetizer once. That being said, the food is really tasty here. They have live music here sometimes. The patio is great in the summer. If you're not into street parking, there's a parking lot next door. The staff are polite but not overly friendly. One time we went, I had to ask for silverware more than once after my food got there. I've seen a whole family leave because no one ever took their order. Both of these instances were when we were seated outside. Great service, inside.

We came here for my elderly grandfathers birthday dinner. The atmosphere is fun and light and the view of the water is the cherry on top of the location. Our food was pretty delicious with a few complaints from a couple of our members saying their prime rib was much over cooked. My seafood was cooked perfectly and the scallops were great, the lobster tails were amazing! The sweet potato fries specifically I would order every time. Our server was very friendly and mostly attentive despite forgetting items a few times. We would return to try this location again.

We were passing through the area so we stopped here for lunch. We wanted to sit outdoor and they told us there was a wait time of about 10 minutes. Not a problem - we sat by the door and waited. 15 minutes later, our table was still not ready and we also noticed no one has left in the time we have been waiting. We went to ask about our table and they said they can seat us. So... what was the point of waiting then? When we got to the outdoor area, they weren't even full! I saw about 4-5 empty tables! Other that the long wait for a table, service was overall pretty good. Our server was very attentive and came to check up on us a few times and made sure we were satisfied with our food. We ordered oysters, the clam chowder, and also the halibut. The oysters were very fresh and juicy. However I would skip on the halibut next time. There was nothing special about it.

Such a lovely lunch experience by the waterfront! Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and served with a smile. Here's what we had: Shucked Oysters (2 orders of 6) Super fresh and briny -- absolutely delicious! Chilled on ice with lemon and cocktail sauce, they were the star of the meal. Would definitely come back just for these! Clam Chowder Rich, creamy, and comforting. Full of flavor with a nice balance of herbs -- perfect for a breezy afternoon by the water. Halibut Dinner Simple but satisfying -- grilled halibut was lightly seasoned, flaky, and fresh. Came with crispy fries and sautéed veggies (loved the crunchy broccoli mix). A great combo of textures. Sierra Nevada Summer Lager & Iced Tea Both drinks were refreshing and paired well with the seafood. Total: $113.04 (for 2 people) A bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the quality and location. Plus, no regrets on the oysters -- they were amazing! Dining outside on the deck was a bonus. The view, service, and atmosphere made it a perfect lunch stop in Olympia. Highly recommend!

We've been wanting to try this and decided to come for lunch Friday after thanksgiving. Beautiful location, downtown, right by the water. It was not busy at all and we were seated immediately. Our server offered some great selections (the menu had a lot of options and she helped us to narrow it down). She was very attentive and took excellent care of us. I ordered the seafood basket which was a ton of food! It came with cocktail sauce, tartar, and an aioli. Overall it was your typical fried seafood basket. I also had the clam chowder which was nice and thick and creamy with lots of chunky bits of clam. My husband got the Drunken chef and loved how hearty it was. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, selections, and service. Will recommend!

Pros: you will leave happy as long as you love seafood and order seafood here, I have never tried a non seafood item here, I mean, why would I? Cons: they charge a fee for using credit card

I was driving through Olympia with some friends and decided to pop by for dinner in Washington's capital city. I knew it was probably going to be good given the reviews, but I was actually blown away. The calamari was absolutely out of this world -- imagine mozz sticks but with the mozzarella replaced with the softest squid ever. The fried fish was so lightly battered, yet perfectly cooked inside. The variety and sizes of the oysters were also perfect. It's in a nice, large location with a great view of the water. I would be coming so often if I lived in the area!

Excellent service. Food was delicious. They are rebuilding their outdoor dining area. Can't wait to try it this summer!

The shrimp was good, through the seasoning was inconsistent despite my best efforts. I ordered the spiciest option, and the shrimp was the only part I got the spice from. Sometimes I'm there was no heat, other times it felt like it was trying to kill me. My biggest gripe with the food was the lack of potatoes. Why get stingy with potatoes? There were only 2 in the boil I got. It was a generous amount of food overall, but I feel like potatoes are the weirdest part to skimp out on. The restaurant looked nice and had good lighting. My biggest complaint overall was the choice of music. Objectively, it was not appropriate for a family joint. It was Kanye West, Childish Gambino, Tyler the Creator, and other similar artists. The songs were explicit, and there were many families with children in the restaurant. I can't rate it too low because all the food I tried was great, and I hope to come again in the future.

Next best was the bread - it was perfectly soft inside with a crispy crust. Between how oily the dish was and my nose running from the increased spice as I continued eating, I wouldn't return for this dish. The eggs weren't noticeable in appearance or taste- I had to search for them. The "creamy grits" were creamy, but the black pepper taste was STRONG. Definitely ordered the side for the "creamy" factor, hoping when the server said harissa in the eggs would have a mild spice, that the grits would calm my mouth. The amount of pepper made this unsuccessful. But if you like black pepper a lot then you'll enjoy them. My son enjoyed the beignet's. The server was also the host and he was kind. It was easy to get his attention when needed. I didn't see anyone with a grin on their face after taking bites of their food. I looked around quite a bit out of curiosity. So for ambiance, kind and prompt service, and the possibilities of the menu I gave it 4 stars. We only tried the few things I mentioned. I did also appreciate the bottle of water ready on every table. Note that there is no kids menu and it's mostly table seating. So maybe try on your own or with other adults, and leave the kids at home?

I gave a 5 star rating a year ago although visited several times since then. I can't figure out what happened. Did the chef (s) move on, or pass away and a crew from a local fast food restaurant was hired as a replacement? I ordered the meal with filet, crab leg, lobster (portion?) with baked potato and Death by Peaches for dessert. I have had crab legs here before. This had been boiled until there was no flavor, and very ittle meat. And that was the selling point for me. The lomaster was fine but the sauce wasn't hollandaise as the bartender said. A watery, mustardy sauce. Not terrible but not very good either. Ordered filet medium, came well done. I took it home hoping to add to chili but too tough to eat. Took the baked potato home to save room for dessert and it was good. The real slap in the face was the dessert. I have ordered Death by peaches over and over and was never disappointed. What arrived was a heavy, dry, dense cake without much flavor, some peaches and a small scoop of ice cream. It needed a lot of ice cream or peaches to get through it. I left most of it. I don't mind splurging and I have without complaint but this was such a a disappointment. Most of the patrons were older and I had to wonder if management feels their expectations are lower? I will close by stating that wait staff and bartenders are top notch. Including Isiah from yesterday. Above and beyond even with a busy crowd. Never a complaint about the service. You are no longer my go to restaurant that I can depend on. Oh, had two drinks that were fine but the wine list is meh.
