We are beyond grateful to have found Olympia Training Center! The Ninja Warrior/Parkour classes are super fun, fast-paced, and keep the kids active and engaged. It's truly a great fit for all kids. My 5-year-old son has ADHD and can sometimes be a bit of a space cadet, but the coaches are incredibly patient, kind, and supportive. They never hesitate to step in and help when he's struggling, and they always make him feel included and successful. The staff truly go above and beyond for the kids. My son has been going here for a few months now for ninja warrior training. They seem to emphasize more parkour style activities over the hanging activities that you would see in American Ninja warrior. While the facility is not the biggest, The instructors do a great job of handling them. I like how they break up the students in terms of level and they focus on individual skills at one time. The wristband system seems like a money grab, but they are helpful to encourage the gamification of working hard and getting to the next level. My son has been attending Ninja Parkour classes for about a year now, and the progress is incredible! He can confidently jump, climb, and roll over obstacles. We picked this place because the reviews were great. Our kid is generally very reserved about new places and new coaches -- they need to pass the vibe check before agreeing to participate and the coaches here did just that. Coach James is friendly but firm and the other coaches look young but are amazing at handling young children. We recently held a birthday party here for 27 high energy chaotic kids and Coach Mike and his team managed the chaos so well. They're literally saints in my eyes bc oof I was exhausted just watching all the wrangling they needed to do. This review is long overdue. My son Max has been attending for almost 2 years now. We started by joining a parkour group lesson, and then moved on to privates because my son is autistic and generally is hard for him to keep up with large social groups. My son loves parkour but due to his autism, he struggles a lot with patience, with controlling his emotions, and with not giving up when things are hard. I can't speak enough of how amazing Coach James has been, he has not only developed parkour skills my son didn't have , but also has shown him that is okay to make mistakes as long as you keep trying. He has also been so patient with my son, something not many teachers/educators are willing to do. I actually live far from this center, minimum of 40min drive each way, and as hard as sometimes is to get there, is absolutely worth it PLUS this has been the only one activity my son hasn't asked to drop. I don't know who the owner is, but I certainly hope this review about Coach James gets to him. read more

This is the best gym for parkour ever! My daughter joined because her friend was doing it and she has loved it so much. The coaches are all excellent, especially Coach Mike and Coach James. They really care about the kids and have high standards, but also have a lot of fun with the kids. Their band system is great, you can level up in colored bands as you learn more, and as your skills grow stronger. Coach Mike and Coach Alexis are the best! We love this place and our son (12 years old) loves it too. He has never really been into sports and we have tried literally every sport. Then we found this place and this is his thing! So happy to have found Olympia. They are so good with kids that don't fit the typical mold of athletic kids. Couldn't wait to post a review for these guys. They are all very amazing. Very friendly, professional, patient, fun.. etc etc. We just went for a birthday party. Wasn't sure what to expect except lots of craziness with all the kids. It turned out to be quite organized as it can be, with the different coaches working with the small groups. My daughter is very shy but the coaches were AMAZING with her. Special shout out to coach Spencer! My daughter got overwhelmed at one point and started crying. Spencer noticed even with all the kids around. Came over and scooped her up. Turned her frown upside down and helped her through every step of the way. Made sure she wasn't missing out of the fun and that she was ok. So patient and kind to her. Thank you so so much!! It really made the experience absolutely positive for her. These guys did so well with the birthday party. The kids seemed like they all had a lot of fun. They had different physical activities that they had the kids do. We found Olympia Training Center on Yelp, and are so glad we decided to check it out!! I was looking for a place to have my boys' 7th birthday party, with an American Ninja Warrior theme. I called and talked to Mike about the event, and he invited us to try one of the youth Parkour/Ninja Warrior classes as that would be the activity for the party. My boys had a blast with the trampoline, climbing ladders, silk swings, and all the other obstacles! They even have the salmon ladder! I really liked how the instructors paid attention to all the kids to make sure they understood the activity and were staying safe and engaged. We booked a date for the party and Mr. Mike was super easy to work with and responsive. We had 17 little boys (5-9 yrs old) for the party, and had the whole gym to ourselves. Mr. Mike and Rafa were the instructors for the party and kept the boys busy with various obstacles and challenges for almost 2 hours! They were great at instructing the boys, keeping them in line, and having fun! We had a range of skill levels but a few minutes into it, all the boys were having a blast and felt comfortable doing the events. One of the highlights was an actual "race" with time for kids to compete- it was so fun hearing the boys cheer each other on! :) we were able to bring all our own food and snacks, and Mr. Mike brought out a real ninja sword (such a hit with the boys!) to cut the cake. Our boys had an amazing time and it was such a memorable party! You won't regret checking this place out or booking a party! We look forward to taking classes soon! My 9 year old son and 5 year old daughter tried a FREE trial class (Ninja Warrior/Parkour) the beginning of September and they were hooked. The business offered two different class, the Parkour and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA); within these classes there is tumbling, stretching, etc. The coaches are kind and at the same time promote bravery and endurance. The schedule is flexible and they do allow for make up classes when needed. You can take one or more classes a week and the cost is fair. The classes are 45min each. During this time parents/family can choose to stay and watch live or in the tv screen from the airing room or they may leave. Being a single mom, this offers me a chance to get some work done on my computer (no free wifi, probably my only wish is that they would offer this) and I watch from the waiting room too. My children wanted to take both classes, they attend two a week. We pay a certain amount for the first child and with the second there is a discount. The kids will be starting there second month there and they love it. read more

Olympia Martial Arts is a great place to learn. I walked in as a complete beginner. It was terrifying at first (my fitness levels are not where I want them to be), and to be honest I was a little intimidated by the more advanced students. However, everyone was really welcoming and the instructors were very accommodating. The adult classes are at night after work so it's perfect for my hectic schedule. I have been attending (semi)regularly since December and I've only grown to love this place more. It has a very familial feel. Mr. Mike and Mr. Felton care very much about your personal growth. Goals are set as appropriate and expectations are high, but not impossible. Classes can be intense, but each student works at their own pace. It's a more supportive than competitive environment. Teachers are always available for questions will spend as much time with you as necessary to help with your technique-- before, after and during class. Furthermore! There are field trips to another studio once a month to practice with and learn from other students as well as fun summer camps for kids. My flexibility, coordination, and strength have improved. Additionally, I feel more confident. It's nice to know that if I'm ever attacked in a dark alley way, I have a decent chance at getting away with minimal injury. Ideally no injury, and a broken nose to my assailant. One can hope! read more
