Located walking distance from the Columbia river and some of the better hotels in Wenatchee, this is a great date spot! Unfortunately, I was on a work trip, but I could imagine this being the first stop then walking off the food. It is on the smaller side of restaurants, but the evening I visited, there was a party of 8 seated towards the back. I'd recommend parties of 2-4 max, but they can accommodate more if it's a slower night. The service was good, nothing over the top, but nothing below average. As soon as I entered, I was greeted and sat at one of the high tops. This high top was on the smaller side, but since I was just a party of one, it was reasonable and I another high top right next to me to use as well. The food came out pretty quickly, which was nice and they were easy to reach if I needed anything. Very welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the crab Rangoon, crispy chicken Thai basil, and a Thai Iced coffee. The server recommended the crab Rangoon when I asked her which she would choose between the shrimp rolls, spicy crispy chicken wings, or the crab Rangoon. They were solid, nothing crazy, but good. The crispy chicken Thai basil was decent as well; again nothing over the top, but the right portion with some heart shaped rice to go with it. In my opinion, it could use a little more spice. I went with the medium, but it was definitely not spicy at all, so I requested the spice tray to fix that. The Thai iced coffee was exactly what I would want it to taste like. Yes, I would recommend this place. Keep the party smaller. I'll have to try another dish on my next trip out here. read more

First I try not to even eat out in Wenatchee. Customer service & good restaurants are severely lacking. First time trying this restaurant. Already got a bad feeling before we were seated. Restaurant closed @ 8pm & me & my wife arrived @ 7:20pm. The waitress asked, whom I assume was the owner. If they're still talking walk-in's. That's never a good sign. Mind you they were completely empty except for an older couple. Ordered spring rolls for as an appetizer choice. Usually pretty hard I think. To mess spring rolls up. The rice paper was hard & gummy. Not soft and edible. Then ordered two additional dishes for dinner. Both the dishes tasted very rushed and microwaved. There was pretty much no customer service. No hows your meal & or can I get you anything else. Don't get me started on the free tap water. How is it that even the tap water tasted like crap. Total was pretty much $50. Let me tell you was the worst restaurant experience. I've been to here in Wenatchee. That's saying a lot considering. I even created a Yelp account to complain lol. So if you're thinking about eating here. Just DONT I don't care what the other reviews say. I had a better visit to blue spoon for $7 lmao. Four of us went here yesterday (8/30/2025) after we did a flash-mob west coast swing dance in Leavenworth and I got the Tom Yum soup. It was fantastic! My wife thought I tight be worth a try and I saw the Yelp menus had Korean dishes so we decide to have an early dinner. (I must preface this by saying that I have made Thai, Chinese, Japanese,Cajun and Italian foods for,the last 30 years as an admitted foodie.) Their menu no longer has Korean dishes just a few Thai dishes as well a lot of curry items. Very disappointed. We ordered the settled on a stir fry seafood meal. The dish was way over salty. Probably too heavy a use of high sodium soy. The only compliment we can give is the rice good and the server was very nice. We will not go back. There are 3 other very good Thai placed in town. Now Wenatchee needs a good Chinese restaurant and maybe one that can put together a Korean menu as well. read more

So you stop in here after picking your way past a few construction sites and some half finished sidewalks and low and behold you are met with kindness from the server, enthusiasm from the chef, a nice playlist of 1970s rock and roll and an absolutely divine bowl of Tom Kha Soup. Great little hole in the wall located in the middle of a cookie-cutter apartment community. Doesn't look like much, and I've seen many negative reviews about this place on the subject of delivery/take-out, which I've had no experience with. What I can say is that the food is great. Best fried rice I've had in Wenatchee. Bibimbap and pad thai were also good, no complaints. It is a little pricey, but in my opinion it's worth it. One time, we got there in the evening while it was still open, and they told us they were only doing deliveries. If you're planning on going there late, call ahead to see if they accept diners, I guess. I've never seen a restaurant do that before. read more

Do not sleep on OM Cooking! Every dish is delicious, but the Tom Kha and Tom Yum soups are out of this world. Delicate, nuanced, packed with flavor and incredibly well balanced. Highly recommend getting both soups with shrimp. read more

This used to be my go-to for Thai/Korean food but it has dropped from a 4 to a 1 recently. I picked up some spring rolls in early September and when I got back to work to open them up found them to be old and wilted. The shrimp tasted off and the rice paper wraps were super chewy. Then they also changed the peanut sauce recipe (which was one of my favorites), to something bland and tasteless. I used to highly recommend this place, but not anymore. The food quality has really gone down in the last year. I order Pad See Ew and the noodles were so overcooked they were just a clump of mush. The curry chicken was runny and tasteless. This place was a bit of a mess... when we came in their was a male patron yelling at us to leave because he had been waiting for 15 minutes and we shouldn't waste our time. The waitress was obviously shaken and when we asked she assured us that they weren't running that far behind. We decided to stay. The ambience is weird at best. The front seems to be an old malt/milkshake diner counter which is cool. But the dinning area has really eclectic art. There were space heaters in the dining area but it was still freezing! Our food came out and mine was fine just your basic chicken Pad Thai but my mom's was a mess. The coconut soup was a bit cold but the milk had curdled. She had had it before and was so disappointed but the poor girl working was running around and we didn't have time to send it back. I ordered a few dishes from Om and was pretty underwhelmed. The Cashew Chicken was just okay- the broccoli was over cooked and the sauce was runny. The Yellow Curry was bland. I also ordered the Pad Kee Mao. The noodles were short cut and not the wide noodles I am used to enjoying from other restaurants. It looked and tasted like boiled noodles and vegetables tossed in a weak sauce. There are better Thai restaurants in the valley unfortunately. I came back and Om allowed me inside the kitchen and made me a traditional Thai street food! Pad kra pao...it was exceptionally unbelievable. Selling dishes that you'd only find in Seattle. We decided to try Om Cooking since it had reopened under this name (and new owner I believe). I didn't try to put any high expectations but I wasn't overly impressed by it either. The ambiance is still being worked out. There were a number of things that looked like they were still in the process of setting up. There were only a few tables seated when we went in that evening and one waitress. She was polite but short, didn't really greet in a way that said "welcome to this new business" but more "I'm just here doing what I'm paid to be here to do". I'd think most places want to have a welcoming vibe but I didn't really get that from this place. Another thing that I noticed was where the old places buffet used to be (I assume as much since what else could it be?) were a few capped pipes behind a set of tables and chairs. These are not marked as a trip hazard in any way and given how dark the room is during the night I seriously think that whole middle area should just be not seating anyone. It is really not ideal to have something potentially dangerous near where you are seating guests. Mark it painfully obvious, move the tables, or completely cover t up with a sturdy box cover or something. We tried the eggs rolls, crispy basil chicken and the yellow curry. The chicken has a nice flavor, definitely try that. The other two items are not much to rave about as they come across as the same standard fare you can find at other Asian style restaurants in the area.
