Edwin was supposed to complete the job on a Wednesday. He asked if he could reschedule, which was fine with me, and we agreed on that Saturday. Saturday came and went with no communication, even though I texted him. On Sunday, he apologized and rescheduled me for the following Wednesday. I am flexible and I was okay with the changes. He showed up around 9:30am with another worker. The job included priming and painting two small areas on the kitchen ceiling, caulking and filling about 10 cracks in the stucco of the exterior of my home, and painting the front side of two exterior doors. The job took nine hours on Saturday and an additional 4 hours on Sunday. There were multiple issues with the job done by Edwin's workers (not him). The main issue is that they didn't properly prep the home for work. When they "finished," there was paint splatter all over my kitchen stove, my toaster oven, the floors, and caulk on my carpet. The tape they used also tore off the adhesive of the weather stripping on my front door. After completion, they had to re-sand and fill scrapes on the doors, which were supposed to be done in the first place. There were also paint drips thay needed to be sanded and repainted. There was caulk over my pavers that I was told wasn't caulk before it was finally cleaned properly. There was also a language barrier so I had to text Edwin the issues and he had to call the workers to explain. I was told to "be patient." While I can't speak for the quality of work Edwin himself does (because he didn't personally do the work), I was disappointed overall. When I expressed such, Edwin told me he wished me the best of luck in whatever company I use next and sent me the total bill (which is what was agreed upon). After I paid, he asked what he could have done better and asked me not to leave a negative review. My review isn't negative, it's honest.
