Will you be getting the personal customer service from knowledgeable employees while supporting a wonderful small business in Black Mountain? I think not. Stop by and take a look. Musician's Workshop might be great for guitarists, but being a drummer, I have to rate this store based on my needs. If you're a drummer too, you'd be better off going to Guitar Center.

Fast forward and I've really been wanting an acoustic electric guitar. On our most recent trip, we decided to stop in again and see what they had. The staff were amazing and helped us choose a guitar in our price range. They "fit" us so that the guitar wasn't too big or too little and they hooked it up to an amp so we could hear it. It was an amazing experience and now we're budding guitar players. We'll stop back in next time we're in Asheville when we've practiced more and are ready for an amp, capo, etc. Musician's Workshop has the nicest, no-pressure staff we could imagine!
