With TJ Maxx out of the equation, the store is more diminutive. The selections are suitable for the most part, offering a large number of items. I'm thrilled with how well-organized each department is. Although that's great, the aisles are crimped, making it challenging to pass by. It would be nice to see some improvements. The negative: Every manager and/or assistant manager we have encountered here for over many years has been rude in their interactions with us. Answers to our queries are short and without a smile or pleasant comments. They've also not acknowledged us as customers if the associate has a question regarding our items at checkout. Very surprising that a Christian company would consistently employ miserable people in the managerial position. What kind of an example are they to the public of a joyful follower of Christ? And if they aren't a Christian, perhaps Hobby Lobby should be reconsidering who they hire to represent their company.

Penn Furniture has a large selection of live edge table tops and any legs to match. We chose wood and they let us stage it in their warehouse before deciding on final position of legs. I found a lot of amazing vintage pieces hiding out here, which I gladly stuffed right into my cart. I will say, that it is sometimes nearly impossible to shop when every single employee is putting out racks at the same time. I get that you have to restock, but it's really annoying when you're browsing and getting pushed out of the way by employees putting stuff out, or they are blocking the aisles. On a lighter note, I did get a really amazing tote bag here once that I still use daily.
