Seems like in it's hay day, there used to be some tennis tournaments that would come through - since there is a center court set up. Don't know if they still use the tennis center as much, but it would be nice to see an event there. Plenty of parking... you just have to contend with volley ball players and Frisbee golf players that are using the other aspects of the park near the tennis courts. 10/15/10 - Just played a match there... they've repainted the courts! Everyone was a pleasure to talk to, drill with, and roll with. The mats are high-end, clean, and spacious. The instruction is top-notch. Professor Jeremy clearly loves jiujitsu and teaching, and both of these facts are apparent in his detail-oriented instruction and his well constructed curriculum. I have been back several times since my initial visit (including flying back from Seattle) for both the good training and the good people. I can't recommend training here enough.

She absolutely loved it and we joined (for a year) after that first class. She had previously been in dance for 3 years and it just wasn't her thing. She almost always wants to go to class and has made friends there. Mr G is AMAZING. He is patient as can be with the kids but doesn't let them walk over him and ensures they're respectful (not interrupting, focusing, polite to others, saying sir and mam.) He is soon testing for his 6th degree black belt. The kids love him. The cost isn't bad at all considering your children can go 5-6 days a week most weeks if you want them to. My daughter went 4-5 days a week for a while, we did zoom classes during Covid, and have been back in person for a while now. We moved from Southpark where we were 10 mins from class and now are 25-30 WITHOUT traffic and it's been a year since moving and I still can't imagine switching her. We usually only go 2 days a week now usually because of the drive, but my daughter practices a lot at home too. Initially, equipment needed is minimal; however, if they're going to stick with it, you should invest in the gear. She gets to test for her black belt in September!
