I sent him the contract from last year that it was $750 for 3 hours. He said he would honor the 3 hours for $800. Then a hour later I get this text saying that since I didn't tip him it would be $900. I have to let everyone know that Tyler was sure to say last year and this time that he repeatedly stated the price is not including gratuity and that he expects a tip. I did tip him $100 last year but I guess he forgot that. Find someone else to use as this guy is an arrogant a-hole!

We walked away from those meetings feeling completely confident that we were aligned--and it truly showed on the big day. My initial call was about a year in advance of our wedding with John Alexander and that went smoothly. I stressed how important the emceeing portion was to me and he ensured me that DJ Nick would be a great fit. I watched DJ Nick's intro videos and loved him so I proceeded with booking. I received an automated email in June that I'd be hearing from my DJ soon, but didn't so then followed up on June 22nd with no response. I then texted John June 25th. Again, no response. We were only 2.5 weeks away from the wedding and had a holiday weekend between so I sent another text the following day to follow up. Finally he responded and said my DJ would call me next week. My DJ did not call. I had to send him another text the following week letting him know my DJ did not call. I told him that instead of waiting on the call I booked a meeting on their online calendar. At that time he just sent me "DJ Khoa" with his telephone number and zero context. This is a week out from my wedding that he tells me we have a different DJ than we booked. it wasn't until I call him and say "What happend with DJ Nick?" that he tells me that Nick had some things come up. It just seems like the owner of a company should be a little more proactive in letting clients know about when an issue arises rather than having a client reach out 4 times and then finding out a week before her wedding that it's a different DJ with a completely different emceeing style. DJ Khoa did a fine job and it's no shade to him but it was not what i was looking for for my wedding. Overall i would avoid Eclipse at all costs and not do business with John Alexander.

Danielle met with us multiple times to understand the vision the grooms were looking for, and made many suggestions on food, amenities, etc. as we were planning for "The Big Party". On the day of the event, Danielle and her assistant showed up early and assured us that anything that was needed, they would take care of and they were true to their word! They spent the day not only making sure that our backyard looked like something out of a fairy tale, but that the grooms were getting all of the attention to detail that they wanted. They even made sure the boys ate during the party and continued to check on everything until the last guest left for the evening. The whole event was a resounding success. We were so incredibly happy with the job that Danielle and her team did, she made our son's dreams come true and that's all we could have asked for. From day one, she took over managing the contracts with all of our vendors, fielded all calls and questions from them, was always available to answer our endless questions, etc. But I can honestly say that our actual wedding day would not have turned out as wonderful as it was if Danielle and her lovely assistant Fran were not on site to make sure everything went perfectly. They set everything up according to the floorplan we created together, made sure everything went as planned, broke down and boxed up everything afterwards, and then even loaded our vehicle. I love throwing parties, I have thrown several since moving into this house, and I actually am one of those people that loves all of the work that goes into planning and executing parties. I have cooked, by myself, for as many as 80 people before, but this time - I just wanted to be taken care of for once, instead of being the host that's taking care of everyone else. I knew about Swig because I followed them on Instagram, and decided to contact Sara and talk to her about my event. It was a smaller event - about 40 people total - and I had it catered (first time not providing all the food myself!), so I really just wanted someone to stay on top of cleanliness and food and drink replenishment. Sara assured me that this is exactly what Swig is there for, so we decided to hire just one server to assist with our party. Angelique arrived on time (in fact I think she was a little early!) and immediately felt like a member of my family. She was so sweet and friendly, right off the bat. She got right to work and did everything I asked of her (and more) - she assisted with setting up the food when the caterer arrived while I ran around and took care of some last minute details and greeted my guests as they arrived. This also freed me up to have some family photos taken with my photographer before the event, which was awesome! Throughout the night she checked with me several times to see if there was anything I needed from her, but honestly, I couldn't think of anything more than she was already doing! She was on the ball, all night. She made sure the food and drinks were replenished when needed, and the tables were cleaned throughout the night. She even went into my house and did some dishes in my sink (not even party dishes!!) and grabbed some containers to pack up the leftover food. This was an amazing detail that I always seem to forget when I throw my own parties, and wait too long and end up having to toss the food. Thanks to Angelique, we have leftovers for days and I am very excited about the tacos I'll be eating for dinner tonight! By the end of the night, I looked around and the whole barn looked exactly as it had when I was setting it up and decorating hours earlier - like a party had not even taken place yet. Every surface was clean, there was nothing spilled anywhere, and all the trash was taken care of. Several of my guests remarked to me on how friendly she was, and what an amazing job she did as well. Hiring Swig was hands-down the BEST money I spent for this party, and I would hire them again without hesitation. In fact, I may never do my own party again, as long as Swig is around! It was SO nice to be able to relax, eat, and socialize with my friends and family on such a special day, instead of having to make sure we didn't run out of tortilla chips or water bottles.
