The day of my roof installation Zion and the install crew showed up well before the planned start time and rocked it out. Their attention to detail, teamwork and final cleanup was more than what I expected and exceeded the experience that I had 23 years ago with a previous roofing company. Our HOA had its own approval layer on top of the city permit, and Sun Vault Roofing helped us navigate a two-week back-and-forth over approved shingle colors (side salad: ridiculous that HOAs have this kind of bureaucracy). Despite the complications, Sun Vault Roofing kept us updated through every delay and milestone without us having to chase anyone down. That alone was worth the price difference. The crew showed up on time, worked two full days, and left the yard cleaner than they found it. The roof has now been through 2-3 major storms since installation, including the crazy hail in April and there is not a speck of damage. Everything looks sharp and clean. The job included gutters and down spouts. After the B.S smoozing of there salesman, we went with Rooster. This was done to the tune of $25,000 they also replaced our reflector globes. The globes were never sealed properly s, we get droplets of water in the tubes. Also, we have debris on the glass inside the outer part of the glass that is very hard to get to for a73year old man.. There is supposed to be a year guarantee. We started calling for someone to come out to look at the back side of the gutters because there is a problem with them. The smoothie sales guy came out and went on the roof duh. And said he Will take care of this. The original call to rooster was in may. Two weeks went by only to learn that the sales guy never wrote a work order for a worker to come out! In short I finally got a hold of the owner. He came to our residence only to get the same lousy service from the owner!!! So,beware that once they get your money they forget your name! I've left numorus phone and emails but to no avail. They are like those fly by night companies that come from three states away and send their workers out door to door like a bunch of locusts stay in small motels and rent some equipment for a couple months then disappear. No where to be found but they got your money!

Absolutely Avoid - Unlicensed, Unskilled, and Completely Irresponsible…read more I strongly advise anyone considering this company for roofing work to look elsewhere. They advertise themselves as "roofing experts," but the truth is appalling: surely only one individual on their team, maybe the "boss" is actually licensed for roofing. The rest of the labor is subcontracted to unlicensed, untrained workers - individuals they seem to pick up from street corners or Home Depot parking lots, South American migrants, with no verified experience in roofing or skylight installation. The crew that came to replace my roof was in junk trucks that collect trash items, with no company logos; they spoke no English, the tools they used were a duck taped 2 ladders into one so they can get to the roof and duck taped electric cables to play Latin music while "working". Before leaving the block they collected some of my neighbors trash chairs and baby crib. One of their "bosses" proudly stated they are from Guatemala. Regardless where they are from they had no clue of the job to be done or work ethics. A side note: they ruined my flower beds and plants I had just planted in Spring. I hired the company to replace my roof and skylight because the 2 American gentlemen that came to my door to get my business seemed thrust worthy. I did not go out looking for them, there were other companies coming as well since we just had hail. However, due to their subcontracting, the job was clearly botched. As soon as winter hit -- the first winter after the roof replacement -- the skylight started leaking around the corners of the skylight. Water damage stained the bathroom ceiling, completely ruining the paint and creating the perfect conditions for mold to grow. Despite multiple calls and three return visits where they applied sealant around the skylight (and proudly showed me the caulking tube as if that's a professional solution), they now deny any responsibility. Instead, they're absurdly blaming "temperature changes" -- despite the fact that I've lived in this home for over four years and never had a leak before they touched the roof. They also said it is practically "impossible" to file claim with the skylight manufacturer- no explanation given. Their customer service is dismissive, evasive, and frankly insulting. One of the guys offered me $100. They refuse to fix the damage their shoddy workmanship caused, and it's clear they never intended to stand by their work in the first place. Their practices are shady, their professionalism nonexistent, and their concern for client satisfaction is zero. Clearly, hiring them you get zero warranty on their labor. This company is a textbook example of what happens when you hire people who cut corners, use unqualified labor, and run from accountability. Save yourself the stress, expense, and water damage -- hire a licensed, reputable roofer who takes their craft and clients seriously. I'll be taking legal action.

Owner and crew were back within days of installation during a rain that caused water to pour into our home, including the electrical box area, causing damage to our cabinets and ceiling. He patched our brand-new roof 4 times before having success...temporarily. In February 2020 the roof started leaking again. After MANY phone calls, emails and him saying that he'd be over...he showed up on March 30 and did yet another repair on our brand-new roof. He never even spoke to us on the 30th. Recently our roof started leaking again. The drains are too high, the recovery board is starting to curl, and several leaks due to poor craftsmanship have been identified. Throughout the claims process there were a few bumps in the road with our insurance company but Nick was there helping walk us through each situation- never leaving us hanging. When it came to installing the new roof, Nick's crew not only did an amazing job but they were very thorough when it came to cleaning up each day. Our neighbors even popped by to comment on what a great job they had done! Our house now had a beautiful new roof but we weren't finished with Doyle Exteriors just yet. The gutters that were on the house originally were gross, outdated and you probably would have had to run them over with a tank to do any sort of damage to them.
