Came here for a quick to-go breakfast. My husband and I ordered their croissant with ham, egg, and cheese along with a mexican mocha to share. The croissant was buttery and the protein inside was filling - it was a good amount to split. I thought the mocha would be too overwhelming with the spices but they were actually quite subtle and the chocolate was rich and smooth to balance out the spices. We very much enjoyed our meal. Just today, we ordered a large lavender matcha latte, a steak and a mushroom empanada and a super burrito with added sauces. Instead of the correct burrito, it was the veggie burrito. After a nice workout at the gym, I was craving for some Açaí and decided to look up what's in the area. One Love Cafe instantly popped up from my location so I decided to check it out. I mixed all the fruits and oats together and overall it was decent but nothing special about it. Parking is plentiful in the morning. You do have to pay for hourly parking in the area (50¢/hr). There are pay stations and QR codes posted everywhere for ease of access. I like the interior decor of the cafe. A lot of color, art, and plants making it a light open space. There is plenty of seating but, if you want to bring a party of 4+, it may be difficult to sit together as there are two tables that can support 6 people. If you are looking for a place to study, one love cafe has outlets for you to charge your laptop. Service is good. Was welcomed into the cafe and answered my questions with clarity and respect. I ordered the strawberry matcha. The strawberry tastes like a syrup and not fresh as I hope it would be. The matcha is also too milky and I loses the matcha taste. But overall not bad. The breakfast burrito is great as well. Their chipotle sauce greatly enhances the food. Overall I like the food and the ambiance of the cafe. I am kinda disappointed in the drink I got but they also offer other drinks that I need to try as well. For now, one love cafe gets a 4/5. read more

My little family and I attended a community event here to support our friend and his students. The vibes were as the kids say "on point", or maybe they don't say that anymore. lol Anyway, One Love Cafe was/is amazing. Beautiful space. The ambiance was chill and welcoming. Although it was a community event and not a regular day in the coffee shop, the owner introduced herself and invited my young child and me to come in during regular hours. She explained that they have a little kids corner which I think is lovely. She was very kind and sweet. Unfortunately, we didn't know there'd be food at the event so we ate beforehand. I look forward to another visit here... for any occasion-- a community event, a meet up with a friend, little date with my youngin, or some solo time. The service is fast, the restaurant is clean and well-lit, there are a couple of Instagrammable seating options for nice pictures, and the food is delicious! We went in on a Sunday morning (Easter!). I had veggie breakfast burrito and it was SO GOOD! All the veggies were perfection. It came with salsa but I also requested sour cream. My one complaint is that the veggie is supposed to include avocado and mine had none. Like not even a tiny sliver--none, nada, zilch. I just know it would've elevated it even more! Hubby had the croissant sandwich with egg and cheese. He asked for an addition of grilled veggies. It was clear that this is an abnormal request but they filled it. He said only the onions were still crunchier than he'd like. We both had lattes made with almond milk. Mine was too strong (coffee-wise) so I couldn't finish it while eating. I asked the cashier/barista if he could pour it into a go cup and add a bit more milk. He went above and beyond even steaming the drink again for me. What I learned is that I don't love an horchata latte the same way I love horchata. I'd try a different flavor next time. I really wanted to try a smoothie too but I was much too full after my burrito to attempt something like that. We were traveling childless but there's the little play area in the front of the dining room that I know my little people would have loved. Wow what a gem in downtown San Bruno. I stumbled on this place while just looking for some coffee to grab before work, and it was so inviting. The decor, the art and music, the whole place was a vibe. I said I'd come back for food and I did. The food was great, delicious, and for as full as I was I did not feel bad about anything I ate because it all tasted so fresh. The breakfast burrito was so good, especially with the salsa. Their coffees are perfect for me, someone who doesn't like then TOO sweet and where you can actually taste the coffee. I recommend the coconut latte or horchata. The açaí bowl was loaded, delicious and worth every penny. And lastly the caprese avocado toast and chipotle chicken sandwich were delicious! I recommend any of those items when you visit. My first time coming here and personally thought the food was just ok. I got the Acai Smoothie Fruit Bowl and the fruit was very fresh, but the acai was too runny and soupy for it be an acai bowl. I also ordered the Matcha Magic smoothie and it was initially served to me at room temperature, but the staff did made it cold once I asked for it to be cold. The matcha smoothie definitely tasted better when I got it cold. The flatbreads looked good here, I'd try that and one of their lattes if I come back. They do really well with the decor in this cafe. There's lots of available seating (chairs and sofas, too!) & plenty of tables. I love their little kids corner, making a perfect destination for families to grab a quick bite. I want to start by saying that I truly want this place to grow and become the staple this neighborhood needs. I've taken time to sit with my thoughts before sharing this review, and after seeing feedback from others, I feel compelled to add my perspective. I've visited at least 15 times, starting from day one, and my first experience was amazing--clean, welcoming, beautifully presented food, and exactly what downtown needed. Over time, though, I've noticed some changes that have affected the overall experience. The addition of local merch and artwork is a great concept, but the space now feels cluttered and difficult to navigate. The food and service have also declined significantly. On my last visit, I waited over 40 minutes for food and drinks, and the space felt noticeably less clean--not just because of increased foot traffic, but because it seems like they're stretched too thin. What initially felt charming now feels worn down. The quality of the food, furniture, plates, and cups doesn't reflect the mission of supporting local, and instead feels like a mix of budget-friendly pieces that don't match the vibe they originally set out to create. As a work from home corporate girlie I've tried just about every coffee shop from SF to Palo my best comparison of where I could see this going with growth in the right direction, is like a soul grind, and Eddie the owner built an absolute community, love, and energy that has transformed Pacifica, they sell merch, sometimes have local artists selling out front. They host community things. And at times it's very busy or tables get dirty but, to the core they have incredible food and coffee. That's something I think has to be super duper solid in a coffee shop before adding in the rest. Their products tables plates and chairs are industry or custom made (cups and plates crafted by locals, wood tables, etc) not wayfair and target. Soul has been around for a while and it took them time to build the fun event things. I also understand the importance of businesses supporting community initiatives, but there's a fine line between fostering inclusivity and making political statements that could alienate potential customers. Some of the recent events promoted on social media have felt like a step too far, not because of personal beliefs, but from a business strategy standpoint. I share this feedback because I see how special this place could be with the right focus. I want to keep supporting it, and I hope to see it grow into the thriving, intentional space it set out to be. The burrito was really good, and I really like the coffee as well!! The ambiance is very chill, and a good space for studying if you don't mind a bit of noise, as well as a place to relax. More than once I have come in to find that they have run out of something. This time it was chicken. The menu is small. What a wonderful addition to downtown SB! Needed a cafe today to work for a few hours and had this spot bookmarked for a while; super cute, warm & welcoming place (love the fireplace, the local artist art on the wall, all the details you can tell the owner spilled love into it); love the menu (simple yet fun menu items!). I had a large hot Pistachio Matcha Latte with pistachio cold foam and coconut milk...it was so good. Later on got the egg & cheese croissant and added bacon and avocado, so beautifully plates and yummy. What I love about this spot is that you can order with staff OR order from your seat....i needed to get settled asap to hop on a meeting, so it was nice to be able to order from my seat, staff was so prompt and personable...best of both worlds. I'm a sucker for breafast burritos, and One Love Cafe does not disappoint! This is a nice 'hole in the wall' cafe, but it punches way above it's weight class. The service is great, and I appreciate that there is a website where you can order items, and see what's in stock or not ahead of time! Besides the breakfast burritos, I also enjoy the breakfast sandwiches and chicken almond pesto (chef's kiss)! With fast food prices increasing so quickly, One Love's a great value on price alone, not to mention that this is 'real' food, not the super-processed stuff you might get at big chains; I worked at a fast food place while in school, believe me, I've seen some stuff... They are open Wednesdays through Sundays, from 7 am - 3 pm, and are good for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
