Hot chocolate
Hope L.

Came here on a Saturday morning and ordered a hot chocolate. I got a 12 oz for $5.30. The hot chocolate was good! It was perfectly sweet and the perfect size. The workers here was also really nice and accommodating. I enjoyed my visit here!

This is such a cute coffee stop! Or a cute date spot :D I love the green couch :) Very busy in the mornings so I ordered ahead of time. The dirty chai was a milky coffee with the essence of chai :) Limited street parking, free wifi Thank you :)

Great food. Superb service. Ambience is cafe. Rabbit to go and head over to Newhall across the street. Pro tip!

Went here for lunch. It's located on San Mateo Ave where there's a lot of restaurants to choose from. Place is cute and well decorated with a little area for kids to play/read books. What drew us here was that they had açaí bowls. Ordered a mushroom empanada, caprese style avocado toast, açaí bowl and horchata latte with a plant based milk alternative. The mushroom empanada was spectacular. Packed with a savory blend of mushrooms, cheese and vegetables. I really enjoyed the chimichurri sauce it came with. I could have eaten more of it if it came with more though the amount given was adequate. The chimichurri gave it a fresh herby kick to the golden flaky pastry. The açaí bowl was good--standard and exactly what you'd expect. Thick and refreshing with a good balance of sweet and tartness. The caprese style avocado toast was underwhelming. Minimal basil that you can't taste which was disappointing because it made the toast feel incomplete. It was so basic, I felt like I could have easily made it myself at home. The basil is such an essential ingredient to caprese that it doesn't really deliver on the flavor you'd expect . Lastly, the horchata latte. What I was really excited to try. I opted for oat milk instead of the traditional milk it comes with and honestly, it was a miss for me. It had an overpowering aftertaste that I couldn't drink it after my first sip. When I mentioned the aftertaste to the staff, he told me he was already aware of the issue and that others had brought it up before. That was honestly disappointing to hear, because if it's a known problem, it raises the question of why it's still on the menu or being served without any adjustment. It felt a bit misleading to continue offering something that's known to have that kind of feedback. He did offer to remake my drink, which I appreciated, but I had already finished my meal at that point and declined. Overall, it left a disappointing impression and I probably don't see myself returning.

One Love Café in San Bruno is such a charming neighborhood gem. Ordering was quick and easy, and the staff made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. I tried the vegetarian sandwich, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying. The real highlight, though, was the pistachio coffee -- unique, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. It's not something you find everywhere, and they do it really well. The ambience is cute and cozy, making it a great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get a little work done. With friendly service and great flavors, this place definitely deserves five stars!

Perfect place for a brunch on weekend with absolutely no wait or stress. Party of 5 we're seated right away. Order at counter or via QR menu. The acai bowls were amazing and generous, and the staff was very accommodating to our requests. The super breakfast burrito was hit with the guys in the party!! Again many other ruin for add ons!! Only one 1 n out ur party had the coffee and it was a decent one. Wanted to try the matcha latte to gauge the quality of it but maybe next time!! Definitely a great spot for low stress, no wait and good food!

Found this place in 2024 and really like it. The atmosphere is great and the shop looks very nice. The red velvet iced coffee is my favorite drink here.

My new favorite little gem. I wish this spot were in my hood. I'd be a regular here. The coffee here is heavenly and my breakfast burrito was DELICIOUS. It's the type of spot where you could get lost in your book, get some homework done, catch up with an old friend, or just pop in for a delicious coffee to go. Every neighborhood needs a charming little spot like this. Love the couches, the art on the walls, and the music selection. The young man helping us was nice too. Thank you for a warm experience with delicious food and one of the best cups of Joe I've had in a long time.

This place is so vibey . My flight had a huge delay, so I stopped in for breakfast. I'm so glad I did. The decor immediately makes you feel at home and cozy in the best way. The staff was so friendly in answering my questions, and the food had great presentation and was delicious. I started with a pistachio latte which had that nutty pistachio flavor but wasn't overly sweet or syrupy. I had the avocado toast with bacon and egg, but I asked the eggs to be scrambled. The dish was bright in flavor and the textures were on point. I wanted to get a pastry to go, but the portion size was perfect for me and I was nice and full. Next time I visit the area, I would definitely stop in again.

Family owned café open from morning to night featuring works from Latin American artists. Order using the QR code on the table or at the register. Your drinks and food will be brought to you. Our order: Latte: $6.00 (Large - 20 oz) +Drinkable temperature: Hot, but doesn't burn your mouth/tongue +/- Creamy with STRONG espresso -No latte art Lavender Matcha Latte: $6.35 (Medium - 16 oz) +Drinkable temperature: Hot, but doesn't burn your mouth/tongue +Strong matcha with fragrant lavender flavor throughout +I liked how there were different sweetness levels: 50% sweetness was perfect for me +Lavender blossoms on top were an aesthetic touch. +This is the 1st time I've seen whipped cream included in a hot matcha latte, and it added creaminess to the drink without making it too heavy. Side notes: 1.) 2.75% Credit Card Surcharge 2.) Restroom available for customers. 3.) Limited street parking *Verdict: I would return to try more of their drinks if I was in the area!

This place has a vibe !! Cute cafe in San Bruno ! What I really loved is this cafe promotes local artists, there are many amazing art works you can enjoy in this place. We ordered Mexican Mocha - Great taste ! Loved it. Regular coffee is also very good. We tried poppyseed and apricot pasties. Poopy seed pastry has nutty unique flavour and Apricot pastry was warm so that was amazing with coffee. Food was served to the table and server was very welcoming. Loved this place !

Come for: breakfast burrito Know that: small, family owned shop with both the pros and cons One Love Cafe is a hidden gem in downtown San Bruno. They are a pretty small place so expect some operations hiccups (things may be slower) but the food is quite good. My favorite was the super breakfast burrito. I asked them to place the chipotle sauce inside and that is my recommended move. The sauce gives a nice smoky kick to the crispy hash browns and bacon. Towards both ends though, it was pretty empty with just tortilla. I also got an avocado toast to go that I'll have to try fresh next time. The toast got a little soggy during transport and the avocado had a bit too much lemon. I'd be willing to give this another shot. Overall, a nice spot to have in downtown San Bruno. A cozy little cafe that serves acai bowls is a welcome addition to the relatively quiet downtown.

Mushroom empanada and avocado toast along with a latte and matcha

Dropped in at this gorgeous Cafe on my way home from South San Francisco. Just wanted a quick bite to eat and some caffeine. And I am so glad that we stopped by, because the empanada was absolutely delicious, the decor in the space was lovely, the latte was great and the service was really good too. If I lived nearby, I would definitely drop in with a book and settle in for a few hours. But alas!

Let's start with the food. My partner and I had the Mexican Hash and Elvis pancakes, respectively. My partner (who is Mexican) was not impressed by the hash, and said it didn't taste very authentic. I enjoyed the Elvis pancakes--named for the fact that they're made with peanut butter, honey, and bananas. The flavor profile was good, but the pancakes were chewy and dry. I enjoyed the flavors, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Beyond that, the service was not great. Our table was dirty and while the server said she would come clean it for us, she never did. The table only had one set of silverware and I was never brought any during our meal, I had to grab them off of an adjacent table. We were not given water, or asked if we wanted any, and our server checked in on us so infrequently that we had to flag down a different one just to ask for water. The prices were fine. Nothing unusual for the Bay Area, so that was a bonus at least, but there's no way I'm ever going back.

I've been exploring all the breakfast burritos in SanFran but this place is now also at the top of my list! I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage and was happy with all the fillings - chunky potatoes, good amount of egg, onions, tomato, and chunky pieces of sausage in a spinach tortilla. (Instead of protein, my friend added avocado instead. And you can choose different types of tortillas - flour, whole wheat, spinach, and others) Just overall good and very filling. Not huge but not small either. The only thing I missed was salsa to put on it. Tapatio packets were given instead. (To be fair, these are Latin American-inspired breakfast burritos not "Mexican" burritos with salsa on the side.) Great breakfast burrito! Looks like there are other dishes to try. At my seat (depicted) you get live behind the scenes of a kitchen. Me personally, I enjoy watching my food being cooked in front of me, so I enjoyed it. I originally went because of looking at the prices on an image on yelp. It was $16 for sausage, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. That's a great deal! But, once I got there inflation kicked it up to $18. Not the biggest difference to deter, but just letting everyone know the real price. I got pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon (depicted). The eggs were good, pancakes were very good, hash browns were okay, and the reason for 4 star instead of a 5.... the bacon. The bacon wasn't crispy and cooked to order. It was chewy and I guess they cook it before and then heat it up on the griddle after. It is super noticeable from the taste, but especially from the texture. I would recommend this place to anyone, but just be aware with the vital advice I wrote.

My pork chop dinner included soup or salad, slice of toasted and buttered sourdough, potatoes or rice, vegetables and choice of dessert. All for just under $30 before tip. The meal was as expected for a '60s coffee shop. Salt is the dominant seasoning. The turkey and rice soup was a smart way to use leftover ingredients. The boiled red potatoes were good. The two thin pork chops were supposedly marinated, but I couldn't tell from tasting them. They were over cooked--dry, tough and needed some herbs. DH had the cheeseburger with potato salad and praised the meal. He also devoured my dessert--ice cream with chocolate sauce. Service was friendly and efficient, making me want to return. Next time I'll have something like a sandwich or burger.
