It's been a while, but I can still vividly remember some key things about this place. First of all, it's extremely jam packed, from floor to ceiling, with goodies commonly found in the Philippines. Odds are, you will find something to snack on in here. Two snacks I often enjoy are the familiar Chippy corn chips and Sarsi (tastes like root beer) pop. There's quite a variety of items in this store - you just need the time and patience to look through everything. The store layout is a bit awkward. The "aisles" are pretty tight. Clausterphobic people might have trouble maneuvering inside. It's a bit of a maze to find your way to the cashier at the back of the store. Nowadays, there are larger Asian grocery stores available that sell the same or similar items. However, I do see the value in supporting these smaller stores and their owners, whenever we have a chance. For those who live in walking distance to this location, this store is convenient compared to other places where you might have to drive farther.

The young lad was super helpful, friendly, and quite frankly one of the most pleasant clerks I've ever had an exchange with in a gas station/convenience store. Second, no one's going to actually finish that off unless you're headed to a party with lots of people and booze to share it. And third, who needs that much sugar in your system, not to mention brain freezes? Oh wait, forget the brain part..... To be fair, I can't really comment on the store itself from this visit, as it was overwhelmingly crowded with all the frozen sugar addicts. Days later, I still can't believe it. The candy is quite overpriced compared to other stores, but the slushies are great and are cheap, though more expensive than 7-Eleven. There is a good range of flavours for the slushies, which are quite popular during the summer. The space is clean, but there is sometimes water or slushie juice on the floor. In the winter people wear their boots inside and bring in snow and dirt, but it is cleaned up everyday.

What makes this store stand out is the amazing sushi bar! The sushi chef there is awesome, he's super friendly and will talk sushi with you and has offered to custom make something for me several times - way better than average grocery store sushi not only because it's make fresh in store, but because of the skill in which it is made.
