I wish I order a side of rice to go with the soup, in addition to the noodle that already in the hotpot. The hotpot sauce is tasty, not too hot and not too mild. The green milk tea and pink milk tea are so Thai. It brings me back to my childhood enjoying the pink milk tea. Shaved ice is tasty with lots of strawberries and condensed milk. We were full but still got chicken rice, and Thai tea custard with bread to go. Chicken rice is delicious. I wish they made the dipping sauce more spicy and sour. I wanted to try out a new spot for hotpot and thought to give One Pot fusion a try. The restaurant is very small and the menu had more than just hotpot. It had Thai dishes like beef larb, papaya salad and silver glass noddle salad. I only had room for hotpot. I ordered the Tom Yum soup with beef, soft tofu, napa cabbage, enoki mushroom and vermicelli noodles. Ordering the items to be in your hotpot is all a la cart and it's not how some other hotpot places soups have set items and if you want more items you can add on. In my opinion I would rather like the soup to have the items and you can choose additional items. You don't know how much is in each item, so you're thinking you're ordering enough but as you can easily under order like I did. The soup was ok missing a little flavor as it was a little bland but the sauce made it slightly better. I know eating soup in 100+ weather in Arizona isn't ideal but I love eating soup during the hottest weather. This specific time was uncomfortable to eat soup in hot weather because the restaurant did not have their AC working and there was one portable fan that didn't do much. I had been craving khao man gai lately, but unfortunately all of my favorite places that had it closed down or no longer sell it. Fortunately, I stumbled upon a social media post of this place recently and saw that they had it on their menu so of course I had to go try it out! After looking over the menu, we ordered khao man gai and the yum mama with seafood. The khao man gai here hit the spot, tasted exactly how it should. Unfortunately, some bites of the rice were cold. The yum mama on the other hand was unsatisfactory, we felt like the instant noodles were undercooked and the dish as a whole was overly sour. This place is definitely a quaint little hole in the wall with its charms. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes of the dishes we had. We went on a Tuesday during lunch time and service was friendly, albeit slow since it was a one man show. I came yesterday with my sisters and we had a great experience. The AC down and they let us know as soon as we walked in. I appreciate the honesty. When your Asian parents changed their mind last minute and asked you to take them to a restaurant that serves Hainanese chicken dish, One Pot came to the rescue! Granted this place is more known for hotpot, their regular entree menu is just as appealing. We also ordered the Khao mookrob, which is the roasted pork with Chinese sausage dish, which is just as flavorful. The portion size is just right. This place is in a sketchy plaza -- honestly, it felt a bit scary at night and I was hesitant to even park. There's no lights. The inside is also pretty basic, and there was a strong smell from the renovation materials. But the food? Absolutely amazing and super affordable. I ordered the Hainanese chicken rice and the crispy pork rice -- both were incredibly tender, juicy, and generously portioned. I always complained that there's no Hainanese chicken in Arizona until I found this place! The chicken tasted very authentic, juicy and flavorful. The crispy pork had that perfect crunch on the outside while remaining juicy inside -- seriously satisfying. And the chicken soup that came with both dishes wasn't made from powder -- it was clearly made from real chicken broth. This is definitely one of those hidden gem. Tasty new options. I love that we each can get our own burners and there's something new to try. Lots of tasty desserts and a whole boba selection after or during your hot pot Thai experience. It's a small mom and pop shop plopped in a tiny strip mall next to one of the hallmark hole in the wall Vietnamese shops I think we all know in mesa :) if you're wanting to get in and out really quickly you may need to call ahead for take out. Waiting for meats and other ingredients for hot pot was a bit of a hassle which was our only reason for losing a star. Otherwise I'd say the staff was very nice and easy to talk to. read more

It felt like the hot pot meal came with a generous selection of included sides (though I don't go out for hot pot often, so I'm not entirely sure what the standard is). Swung by here with a friend because we've been searching for a new hot pot place since our former usual spot started going downhill. We each opted for our own personal hotpot option, my friend selected the tom yum while I went with the mala. The tom yum was very very salty and slightly lackluster in the other typical flavor profiles of tom yum. Not very sour, not very sweet, I couldn't detect much of the typical natural tamarind flavoring. The mala, in my opinion, was a much better choice, if you can handle your spice. Though I admit, still heavy on the salty side. The portion size, considering the price, was pretty fair. Decent amount of everything, including protein. We also each ordered off of the "bubble" section on their drink menu. It is essentially your choice of tea, soda, or lemonade, mixed with a syrup flavoring of your choice. A bit pricey overall considering the simplicity of the drink and what you pay. I enjoyed some amazing Thai Chicken Rice in Bangkok last year, so I was excited to give it a try! I ordered both the Chicken Rice and the Crispy Pork Belly. The Chicken Rice was absolutely delicious! The food was very tasty. There is major shrinkflation from pictured menu with actual much smaller portion size and price on all items we ordered. We were a group of 5 and ordered a mix of individual hot pot, chicken rice plate with infused chicken broth rice, and seafood udon bowl. The food were flavorful with various Thai sauces, chili oil, and crushed red pepper condiments to go with them. We capped off with Bingsu desserts (The fresh fruits given on our bingsus were only 1/3 of what is shown on the menu. Now for the caveats: Just be aware this place charges a mandatory 22% for 5 or more people, which we didn't mind paying, because the service on our visit was good, BUT we noticed the mandatory tip was calculated based on AFTER TAX % and if the group wanted to add additional tip, the recommended tipping on the check is based on the total of FOOD, TAX, and Forced Group Tip, so possibly receive nearly a 50% COMPOUNDED TIP total if you are not aware. If you are just going by the recommended tip amount with an under 5 group party size, just be aware it is calculated based on AFTER Tax total. Otherwise, all else was good. read more

The One Pot concept was new for me. My girlfriend and I were at a neighboring business and stopped in. We were greeted by the owner as we were seated. Although we were unfamiliar with the hot pot food style the menu guided us and enabled the creation of our unique meals. I chose lamb as the protein and my date chose beef. The presentation was great. The pot apparatus that our meals were served in kept everything hot while we dined. Which was great. I think the heated pots had a wonderful un intentional consequence. It slowed us down and feel felt less rushed, and actually communicated. We skipped appetizers but were overwhelmed with the Bingsoo desert. I can only describe it as shaved milk garnished with fresh mango and strawberries. I am looking forward to trying other hot pot creations. read more
