When I brought it to their attention, because I booked with them for them to check the incision site the next day after the ER visit- they asked if I had been drinking when they inserted the pellet. While I understand drinking (alcohol) would thin your blood, I had not been drinking. I found it grossly negligent as a trainer inserted the pellet. And despite being numbed I felt pain, which they knew during my visit. The assisting nurse numbed me more, but the ER said an arterial vein was clipped and that was the cause for the bleeding. No apology, no trying to make it right. They just tried to turn it around on something I did. It didn't feel good. I pay a lot of money for HrT. I am not looking to have to go to the ER to fix something I pay for out of pocket! I am not a drinker. I did nothing. Took it easy, in fact had been laying on my couch watching TV, when I got up, there was a massive amount ( ring about 4-5 inches in diameter that I bleed through on my couch, much less my underwear and pants. I did nothing feel it until the air hit the area, and this was about 7 hours later. I will not be giving my money here again. It wasn't that it happened as much as the response when I asked them to check the incision site the next day. No empathy or compassion for something they did, which does not work for me. (Was my 3rd or 4th injection to boot)

Let me just say that he is by far the best doctor to have. He is down to earth, friendly and approachable. He almost seem like a friend you have. He is very knowledgeable of his craft and will make you as comfortable as possible. Here's what stopped this from being rated as a 5. 1. Lack of communication- there were several times that I was given information at the last minute. In fact, due to lack of communication it almost caused me to have to reschedule my surgery. It was very stressful and I did not appreciate this. 2. Poor customer service- this is towards the front office staff. There's more than one but there is one that is there has been unfriendly with an attitude most times with me. She called me literally after surgery- she didn't ask if I was okay she just asked about a payment. I felt that it was the most insensitive thing anyone could have done. I've escalated the issue twice to management - no change with her. In my honest opinion, she should be in a position  that she does not interact with clients--because truly it is such a bad experience every time I have to have an encounter with her. In a perfect world, if these two issues were rectified then I would recommend this facility.  But as of now, I would say do your research before choosing SHAC. Some things work for some and some don't. Ultimately, you have to choose.
