This place is ridiculous, the AC hasn't worked all summer. Have you ever tried to work out indoors…read moreon a 97 degree day?! Torture ESPECIALLY in a Tuesday night spin class because Athena is EFFICIENT! Only for her work to be rewarded with pure laziness and undesirable conditions, every time we come in, another bike is out of commission. The speakers in the cycle room don't work! Working out in SILENCE is one of THE MOST uncomfortable things to do! Especially at a monthly rate!!!!!!!! Going to the gym is already annoying but under these conditions, it's harder and harder to lose the weight because its like I'm fighting myself from going to the gym. Not because of fitness but because of TORTURE! Temperature torture, uncleanliness torture, equipment torture, slipping & tripping TORTURE. There's never any wet wipes! In a post Covid society, that's unacceptable , it should be a crime. Especially in a place people are always IN. Then come to find out, they're trying to get rid of the paper towels too! Which we're already moistening by pumping the hand sanitizer onto.... Can you say "GHETTO ?!" Ghetto in PISCATAWAY?! C'mon, HOW?! Absolutely unacceptable. There were holes in the gym ceiling for months to the point night volleyball games were beyond hazardous . Liabilities to say the least! A slip in there at volleyball playing speed can take you out of work for MONTHS. The sauna works on & off in spurts... really just depends on the day. They need more people teaching more classes all day! Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday's don't have enough to choose from. I joined this gym for cycle classes, aquafit & volleyball Not only do they not offer enough of them , aquafit is once a week very early, & I already mentioned why volleyball and cycle were a bust! (For the record also, Juliet is a fantastic instructor as well) Going to the other location is NOT conducive for me because I live down the street! Why should I be inconvenienced by somewhere I PAY TO BE?! Please! Help us! We've had enough at this point, it's truly a negligent situation we're facing & again, for a monthly Fee, doing something most truly don't want to participate in anyway.... The GYM!

Had an incredibly terrible experience at the LA Fitness on Oak Tree Rd in South Plainfield, I came…read morewith my sister who uses a GymPass to come here, I was doing the 3-day free guest pass as offered on LA's website, I came on day one and they took my ID and didn't explain anything about the guest pass or give a tour or literally anything for that matter. Day 2 I go in to use the guest pass again and I scanned in my guest pass just as I did yesterday, and signed the form they wanted me to, I was taken behind the counter to the membership desk with employee, Zayd, and was told since I already used the guest pass yesterday under my sisters I couldn't today, she doesn't have a direct LA Fitness pass and doesn't even have guest abilities. I let the guy know I came yesterday and had never come prior to this gym. I was told I couldn't use it today or again for that matter. I asked to speak to the GM, his name is Amari, and he flat out said that I either needed to pay the $20 for the day pass or leave. I asked to see the guest pass policy that states that I couldn't use it for all three days and even showed my email from LA showing that. I then left the gym feeling frustrated, I called the corporate number that LA lists and after explaining our situation he got in contact with Amari from the location, who then decided to issue the 3-day guest pass to me so problem solved. In all, it should've been explained to me why that happened and why I couldn't use it, I was very much considering using this gym as it is much closer to my home and offers different benefits from the one I currently go to. But now, since being treated unfairly I do not feel as though it is worth it to go here to have employees who simply do not care or give any decency to people wanting to come here.

I joined on 1/8/2022. I knew I wanted to join (location was key) so I didn't need to be "sold"…read more Pros: The gym is open on time. You never have to wait for the doors to be unlocked at 5 AM (more about this later). There are ample free weights. There's a pool, basketball court, cycle studio, & another studio which I haven't attended yet. Fellow gym goers are considerate and respectful. The staff members I've had contact with are polite. I'm still learning my way around the spacious gym; but thus far it exceeds my needs in terms of equipment. There are lockers with built-in combination locks in case you don't have one or you forget to bring it. The locker room is large. Cons: The name is misleading. This not a 24-hour gym. As of 1/20/2022, the hours are 5 AM - 11 PM. Corporate needs to knock it off and live up to its name. Telling people it's a 24-hour gym because you have access to workouts on the gym's app is one of the biggest cons around. The same workouts are available on YouTube for free. Live up to your name or change it. Corporate/management needs to have more than 1 person at the front desk in the morning. Additionally, if the person who is there can be on their cellphone the entire time, perhaps they can walk around the gym and clean it too. I was told the gym was cleaned every hour on the hour - untrue. I arrive close to 5 AM 4-5 days/week and there are always stray water bottles on cardio machines, weight benches, Smith and cable machines. On a few occasions the trash cans were full.

I recently stopped by this 24 Hour Fitness in Piscataway, NJ to check it out since I'm looking for…read morea new gym in the area. I signed up online for their free 3-day pass, but when I arrived, the front desk staff was rude and immediately told me they wouldn't honor it unless I signed up for a full membership. When I said no, the story suddenly changed, now they could only give me a 1-day pass. After asking for my ID, the employee noticed I had been a guest at this location over 5 years ago and then flat-out refused to let me in at all. She actually told me to "just use my memory from back then" to decide if I wanted to join. That's ridiculous. Terrible attitude and zero professionalism. If this is how they treat potential new members, I can only imagine how they treat paying ones. I won't be joining this location or recommending it to anyone.

I started working out at this gym right after it opened in December. Since then, I've learned tons…read moreabout Olympic lifts I never thought I could do, received great coaching and become friends with lots of other members. Before I joined I was already eating healthy and running 5 times a week. CrossFit helped make me a stronger (injury free!) runner and keeps me on track with eating right. The coaching staff is incredibly supportive and encouraging. I think you'll get the MOST out of Stealth 2 if you're open to meeting new people. Classes move quickly, so you're not going to get a ton of 1-on-1 attention during every WOD. The coaches will correct your form and offer advice, but they can only do so much in a packed, 45 min. class. Show up on Thursday or Sunday for open gym if you want to do more targeted work. The gym's really starting to pick up steam, so make sure you download the MindBody app and sign into classes BEFORE you pull into the parking lot. I've made that mistake before. Forgetting to sign in or being late = Burpees. Arrive 10-15 min. before your class starts -- that leaves you enough time to stretch out and let's you watch the previous class finish up the WOD. When I was new, I found it helped put me at ease if I watched other people do the workout before I tackled it.

I came CS2 about year and half ago and saw incredible results in my strength, agility, and fitness…read more The coaches at Stealth are very professional, friendly, and supportive. Their knowledge of proper technique and function helped me progress over the three years I've done Crossfit. The South Plainfield box is very spacious with plenty of parking and work out space even if classes are at full. Unfortunately, I moved out of the area and wish I could've stayed longer. This is the place to go if you are a first timer or experienced. I definitely would come back to CS2 in the future.
