Worst place ever. I got sick eating from that horrible place. But hey, they don't card you for buying cigarettes or alcohol, that's a plus. My friends always get their booze from there. read more

The "coffee" - identity pulled from the label on the pot-- was condensed to a blob so dense even steam could not escape. The women at the counter, think Roz from Mobster's Inc, was not a highlight of our visit either. I'm guessing, like the rest of us, she is a much happier person anywhere else but at this Parker's. The only reason to stop at this Parker's is because of the nearby traffic light, so when it turns green, continue moving along to anywhere else. #keepdriving #Eeewwww #ParkersWhereCoffeeGoesToDie

Interior The most recent owner has done some stuff to make it look more upscale, like faux interior wood flooring. Price / Value / Food I found some very good deals in the meat department. Unlike any of it's predecessors, they have Boar's Head deli meats. They have a hot bar with stuff like fried chicken, fried pork chops, mac & cheese. Apparently the offerings change daily but there's a schedule (ie fried fish on Fridays). Customer Service As usual, the customer service was top notch. The deli attendant made a mistake and sliced nearly 2.5 lbs of turkey instead of a quarter pound (0.25) and one night when I ventured in, someone from the deli had dished up portions of food and priced them without labeling the contents so the staff had no way of knowing if the containers contained sweet potato casserole, mac n cheese or what - but we all gotta give people grace in this day of struggle staffing. Overall I hope these guys stick around. They also own The Market (restaurant and seafood market).

Some of the prices are a bit high compared to competitors but shop local!!! The prices are fine when you factor in the convenience of location. The parking lot was completely done along with the interior. It's clean, modern and well organized. When it was BiLo it felt horribly crowded. Welcome to Darien because this store makes our tiny town look good!
