Often have good offers, prices are on a par with larger supermarkets, maybe a couple of extra pence on a few bits but definately cheaper than, say spar. I have to admit that I probably couldn't exclusively do my shopping here, but in combination with other supermarkets, I'm quite partial to popping in and grabbing a bargain! My particular Aldi faves are the chocolate, parmesan cheese, nappies and baby wipes, but the fruit, veg and meat is pretty decent too, and at a fraction of the cost of their competitors. I also like to browse their random isle which changes all the time - I've brought cycling gear and a nest of tables on different occasions! Keep an eye out for their special events for further bargains - the baby event always proves popular but you need to get there early in the day before all the deals are snatched up. The only things that let Aldi down are the limited packing areas and the lack of safety stapes on the trolleys.
