We went to this restaurant while in Antwerp after reading some good reviews online. We had just…read moretraveled around Belgium and France and hadn't had much Asian food over the last week so we thought Thai might be a nice change of pace. I'm so pleased that we came here because the Thai food was delicious and probably the best meal we've had in Europe so far over the past week. The noodles were soft and delicious and the duck was absolutely excellent. My mother-in-law swears she "hates the taste of duck" and this ended up being her favorite dish. Overall, 5 stars! Highly recommend!

My personal favourites are "Tom Kha Kai" (red curry & coconut soup with chicken), "Phad Thai" (Thai noodles with chicken or beef or shrimps) and "Laab Nua (spicy beef with lemon, mint leaves and Thai spices). Definitely worth a try and possible becoming a favourite Thai take-away in the neighbourhood !

The food looked fine at first, but as we started eating, we noticed the pad thai only had 3 pieces of shrimp and practically no veggies at all. It was just noodles. We paid extra for the shrimp as well. The curry was completely inedible. It was pure water and insanely spicy with no flavor. My husband took two bites and couldn't eat the rest. Definitely not worth the money we paid.

The food was hot, fresh, and filling. I wish I took a picture before we ate, but we just couldn't help ourselves! We got the lunch specials, Pad Thai with Chicken and the noodles with bok choy and chicken. It was 15 Euro and the best deal I've found whilst here. Plus, the toilet was VERY CLEAN too! Don't miss out on this spot!

But of course the location is Groenplaats so the rent must be expensive. I'm not sure whether a Thai could survive here. The taste of the food is very nice and authentic. As a maindish I chose the Thai spicy chicken salad but it wasn't spicy at all... the taste was wonderful though. One of my friends took the Massaman Curry which she didn't like that much, the other friend who took tye same said it was okay but they preferred the Nepalese curry. Yet another friend who took a rice dish loved her choice. The fried banana's (in a loempia) with ice cream were yummy. Main dishes vary around 14,90€-15,90€, are not so big but enough for us girls. Friendly service, waiting time was normal. Surely a fine restaurant.

DEFINITELY WORTH A'THAI…read more We showed up without a reservation and they gave us their last available table, with the caveat that we finish in 90 minutes. No problem! The food was incredibly delicious - lots of flavor - then I realized that they use MSG. I had an almost immediate reaction to it. The food was still great and the service was wonderful. We ordered two different dishes in the big bowls on top of a warmer. One had chicken with yellow curry and the other, duck with red curry. The portions were huge - we could easily have shared one dish. The rice was cooked perfectly. They have a nice back patio that would be great in warm weather. If not for the MSG, we would visit again.

After a lady told me that i should find a seat by myself. All right! Then I waited for the menu about 10mins, just for the menu, with a not welcome attitude of the waiter. After I ordered, the sparkling water, they gave me a bottle of it with no brand no label something which charged 2.5euro, when i drank it, no gas at all and it feels warm. Then, waiting about 30mins for my meal, they gave me a bowl of rice different from other table's order which the rice was not full filled in the bowl seems like someone have already eaten that and there was also rice out of bowl. I asked the lady and she was really in the bad attitude told me that they were busy. That was not the reason for it that gave the single customer a discrimination. So incredible, never had this kind of service.

For the main I had Pad Thai, which had thicker sauce than usually get but I really enjoyed it. The drinks were also very nice. I had the Copperhead Gin and Tonic which was very refreshing. My only issue, which we were warned about when we arrived, was that the service is very slow. Expect at least 3 hours for a standard meal. It took 30 minutes for our orders to be taken, 45 before we got our drinks, and hour before we got our appetizer, and one hour and 45 minutes before the food came out. Overall I would say 5/5 on taste, 4/5 on service, 1/5 on speed, and 3/5 on value. Dinner for two was ~65€, for the high prices the owner could probably afford to hire one more server and cook.
