My debit card didn't work for several purchases so I went into the cottonwood branch and they told me that a hold had been put on my account. I wasn't notified of this and they couldn't explain why thi was done. Luckily I had other cards otherwise I would've be screwed. A couple weeks later Zelle wouldn't work and I use it regularly. I arrived on Friday the 15th of May, 2020 at 559PM, the posted hours of business at my local One AZ branch to find two employees, the branch manager and a teller both blocking anyone from entering the line the drive thru. The branch manager stated that they were there so the branch could close at the appropriate time. Most businesses will allow you to conduct your business as long as you arrive during the posted hours of business. So two employees were utilizing their time to keep customers from getting service. What if one of them closed the drive thru line and the other (possibly the manager) was to take care of customers? My wife has had numerous problems with their Visa Credit cards regarding service. I have as well. I have about 15 active accounts and have a 750 to 850 credit score depending on what rating agency. This relationship has been the most problematic for me as well. Both My wife and I are in service businesses, Real Estate and transportation and find the level of service appalling! No compassion! read more

I hate these guys. I dumped Chase Bank after all the shady stuff they did in 2008 financial crash. I voted with my money and moved my accounts over to OneAZ Credit Union. These guys are incompetent sticklers. They are very good at finding a reason not to deposit a check because the name is off slightly in the pay to line or to not do something, but when comes to changing your address, or owning up to a mistake, or just following up on something they said they would do, they're bad. It will take multiple requests to get things done. As much as hated Chase Bank for their corporate overlords, they were friendly and good at their jobs on the local level. Also, I had a renter who had her account hacked and bounced bunch of checks at OneAZCU in Sedona. She racked up $600 in fees. The CU didn't catch the fraud and then blamed her. The money was returned, but she never got her $600 in fees back. Okay, I did get a them to reverse one fee. Which is nice. But only after they escalated it. read more

I used the Coinstar machine in the lobby at the Cottonwood branch. The machine shorted my coins counted. I validated the amount of coins twice before using Coinstar machine. I explained to the Branch Manager that the machine shorted me. He told me that OneAZ was not responsible for any shortages from the Coinstar machine since the Coinstar machine belong to a outside vendor. I ask if in the future I can bring him rolled coins and he told me that I would have to use the Coinstar machine to count the coins for my deposit. He said the machine is 95% accurate and he said there was no recourse as they accept what the Coinstar as accurate. He also indicated there was no recourse to request a dispute and there was not reconciliation between the bank and the Coinstar machine. read more

I would much rather use a local credit union then a big bank I don't trust anymore so I decided to try One Az Credit Union. I bought a 6 month CD at the Sedona branch just over a year ago. Was surprised when I didn't receive a notice that the CD had come due but wasn't too concerned since it would have automatically renewed. But I did keep track after that and went to the Sedona branch on the 1 year anniversary to have them close out the CD and place the funds in my savings account. The bank employee told me that I did not have a CD even though I was holding the piece of paper that proved that I had purchased it. She made a phone call and spent a lot of time on her computer and then spoke to the branch manager. They both apologized to me profusely but said that they had made a mistake and had just put the funds into my savings account without procuring the CD for me. The manager said that it was their fault and that he would TRY to get me the interest payment that I was due which was well above the interest rate on the savings account. It has been more than 2 months now and I have not heard anything from this credit union. Apparently, they don't feel that they have any moral or legal obligation to pay me the interest that I am due! I only gave them one transaction to fulfill and they messed it up. I could not be more disappointed. read more
