It's dark but very safe to walk at nigh, as I was working us hours while I was here. There is a mini mart nearby to stock up on snacks and a coffee machine on site. Everyone is super nice. This is colocated with a language school so there is always a little activity which is nice. Carmen and Sergio made it really easy for me to work and get comfortable here. We will be back next time.

There were three of us staying in a room and we had our own bathroom. Everything was very clean, and they provided linens and towels. It is located very close to the Diagonal subway station, but it is also possible to walk to Plaça de Catalunya and La Sagrada Família. The breakfast included is simple. I think we paid around 30euros per night per person. The staff at the front desk didn't know much english, which made checking in somewhat difficult, but they were very friendly. They also have free wifi! I would recommend this place if you are purely looking for a clean place to sleep and are on a tight budget.

But would it be. In fact it was a better deal than we had expected. Four minutes walk to Sagrada Familia and numerous good, reasonably priced, restaurants and bars. Transport also within five minutes. Secure entrance past a reception which was always manned by very helpful guys. On out first night the poor guy was in panic for me when we didn't have a corkscrew in the kitchen. He was great and found me one within minutes. I think he realised that you couldn't visit Spain without wine. Lift up to the apartment, in our case the third floor. Nice large lounge with TV (never used by us) with plenty of seating and telephone. Two bedrooms for four people, one with safe. Both with plenty of storage space. Bathroom with everything you could need. Girls said that the hair dryer worked better than any they had used in other establishment. Toiletries. Shower in the bath. Fully fitted kitchen with all appliances, including dishwasher. OK, missing a corkscrew but that was amended immediately. Balcony. If you are lucky at the front, with a view of the Sagrada Familia, but with the road noise (not too bad at night). A great apartment complex for a reasonable price.
