In high tourist areas, food can be hit or miss, but this restaurant, which carries numerous local Bavarian specialities is a definite hit.
The dishes are copious. The table of Germans next to me had plates full of fresh Bavarian cuisine such as KartoffelnSalat and LebenKäse. They were quite pleased with their food.
I was looking for something lighter to eat as it was midday and so I went through the fresh, colorful farmer salad and topped with grilled chicken and they gave balsamic because they was Italian or dressing that they do. It was fantastic and perfect. The meat was perfectly grilled and juicy well seasoned. The salad was very fresh cucumber and tomato and also the dressing was fresh. It was served with a basket of fresh homemade German bread that was very good. The staff is multilingual and quite pleasant as they navigate a different language is among the tables. I heard them speaking English, Italian and German all within a few minutes, which is very typical for these areas.
I would definitely come back here for one of the Bavarian dishes as I love Bavarian food and I'm always looking for good restaurants that serve it. read more
