I have been waiting for this restaurant to open for a long time. So my son wanted to treat me to dinner and asked me to go to the drive-thru. We were in line for about 30 minutes. There were a lot of cars which was a good sign. We finally got our food. It was hot and smelled terrific. I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Mix, a combo meal with beef, macaroni, cabbage, and chicken. I didn't care for rice so I asked for a triple macaroni side instead. I had to wait until I got home after dropping him off at his house. The food was hot and delicious. I noted that there were no extra sauces. The food was tasty. My meal was $15.49. Will I go back, YES! I gave them five stars. Poor service bad management. Went there today with my brother ordered two meals when they called my number they gave me the wrong food took it to my table went through it and saw it wasn't mine took it back up and they were going to give that food to the person that did order it that person happened to be behind me and wanted nothing to do with it. I don't know if she left or she got her money back. then when she called my number again did not give me the food that I ordered. I ordered the Hawaiian mix and she only gave me the chicken Hawaiian not with any meat and I told her it was wrong. She said that's not what I ordered. I know what I ordered just because she did not write it down or whatever she tried to recharge me again to cancel both my orders, my order and my brothers order and stay let's start over. I told her no let's don't start over. Got my money back and left. She could've made it very easy by throwing a piece of meat on there and giving me what I ordered rather than playing the game of canceling the whole order bringing all the food back up and then starting over very bad management. She needs to go back to management school. Being from Hawaii I'm very familiar with the chain and food. Welcome to Indio! The food was on point. Tasty as I know it. I got the BBQ mix plate so I could sample the beef, chicken and short ribs. All cooked to perfection and tender. The Macaroni salad was also superb. Since opening this place has been busy. There is sufficient staff to welcome you in and out. I arrived at the opening time 11am and they were busy already. The location is ideal. Right off the 10 Fwy in the Winco parking lot. The new facility is beautiful, clean and has sufficient parking. CUSTOMER SERVICE!! My husband and I visited 7/7/25 @ 7:02 pm!! We had a young lady named Tatum who was behind the counter. She asked what we wanted ... NO HI, NO CAN I HELP YOU, NO SMILE! It was not a busy evening and we've visited this restaurant a few times in the past! We've been treated respectfully for most times! This evening we ordered 2 meals one was teriyaki! I asked if I got sauce with the meal since this was my first time ordering it and Tatum instructed me to visit the side bar where all the sauces are with other numerous items! Also we were told there would be a 10 minute wait! That was fine! HOWEVER, what was not fine was when I went to get the teriyaki sauce the container was empty. I went to counter to tell Tatum whereas she rolled her eyes and said nothing! She could have very easily said ok thank you I'll get it filled asap! But that was not the case! I went back to side bar and tried to pump out teriyaki sauce and was unsuccessful. So I removed the pump to get sauce from bottom of container, whereas all of a sudden I was pushed aside with NO WORDS SPOKEN from Tatum! She grabbed the container and went to fill it! When she brought it back after a few minutes I said thank you. And AGAIN NO RESPONSE! If these young people want to continue to make $20 dollars an hr working at fast food restaurants then they need to LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE! Otherwise with rudeness such as TATUM's the business will fail and she won't have a job! It's not like UNO Hawaii is the only fast food restaurant around!! There are six (6) other restaurants in the same location and 5 across the street! So with that being said the food was good and we'll try it one more time! today was my boyfriend & i's first time trying OHB and we both had two different experiences. boyfriend - did not like it because multiple chicken pieces had black in the chicken which disgusted him so he didn't finish his food, he said the chicken was very spongy and he did not like the mac salad & didn't like the veggies. me on the other hand really loved the chicken katsu (mine had no black/brown spots) the mac salad was pretty good (didn't try the veggies) i didn't like the bbq chicken or beef. only ate the chicken katsu. Since this restaurant opened we have been there 2x. We were enjoying the food as always but a little disappointed with the small portion of mac salad which was unusual compared to the Ono somewhere else. The food is good...they are usually busy so you'll have to wait a little bit to have your order ready, which is ok because it's freshly cooked and not sitting under a hot light....portions are good...my only criticism is the health safety practices...on the day I went I noticed four of the cooks had beards and were not wearing a hair/beard net.
