    After a couple bites!
    Oliver G.

Ono Poke is a fantastic option to grab some fresh fish in Memphis. The shop is filled with Hawaiian aesthetic and memorabilia from the owner. Since I chose to create my own bowl and asked for suggestions, the owner was helpful in navigating the menu. The marinated variations of salmon and ahi were delicious. That being said, I usually like to add tons of topping and there is a restriction of only 4 toppings and the portions of protein were a little small. If the bowl was cheaper I wouldn't have minded, but it was a little expensive to not feel satisfied afterwards.

Owner was really friendly! Marinated salmon and spicy tuna were well seasoned and perfectly cut. Toppings were fresh (even Mango was freshly cut) and pretty classic. Overall, very solid option but slightly overpriced especially for Memphis. Would recommend trying the place!

Decided to try 'Ono Poke out last week and was not disappointed. The inside of the restaurant was quaint. I got our food to-go, but staff was friendly and helpful. My wife and I both tried the Spicy 901 bowls, and they did not disappoint. We both enjoyed them. Spicy and delicious! Definitely will be back to try out different menu items.

    Pele Bowl!

Great fresh food!! I got the Pele Bowl and tried a bao with meat inside it. It is a hot bun with meat- chicken or pork. The flavor was awesome. The bread was different and doughy but good! I was glad I tried it. The pele bowl was great! Never tried a poke bowl before. The meat tasted so fresh. It was kinda like chipotle but for sushi. A sushi bowl? This particular one was a little spicy but not too spicy and the flavor was awesome!! I will definitely be back. It was a great somewhat healthy meal alternative. Great sized portion! I definitely had some leftovers! I was thrown off by what a poke bowl was but went with a friend so make sure you know what it is before you go. I hate when people give bad reviews just because they don't like that type of food in general. You have to like sushi, fresh fish, fresh foods, etc. at least in my opinion Don't know what to get? Try the Pele Bowl: Pele Large Bowl (Spicy)$14.50 Tuna+Crab stick meat, Jicama, Edamame, Cucumber, Jalapeno, Carrot with Pele Sauce.

They have the kanaka maoli flag so you know its legit from Hawaii

So excited for there to be a Poke place in Memphis. Checked this place out at the grand opening and it did not disappoint. Coming from Hawaii I had semi high expectations, but walking in and seeing the kanaka maoli flag made it complete. The poke that was served was fairly fresh for being all the way out in Memphis but for a poke bowl place it was ono (meaning delicious in Hawaiian). Only real bad thing is that the line can get long and there is no real place to sit. I suggest you making a poke bowl instead of getting a pre-made one and getting it to go. You have Overton Park and a couple areas to go and enjoy your bowl. Highly recommend the pele sauce, named after he fire goddess.

The fish quality during lunch was great. This place is perfect for takeout. I got the snack size, and it was very satisfying. All the toppings I got were fresh (mango, green onion, edamame) The owner is really nice & I will continue to come here for takeout more often!

Maui bowl! Perfect combination of flavors

I've been wanting to try Poke for so long but was a bit hesitant. After reading all the great reviews I finally gave in! Oh man was it worth it! The bowl seems so simple but it's full of flavor! I got the Maui bowl with marinated salmon, and my husband did a custom bowl. The place itself was very clean, and all the protein and veggies looked very fresh which is obviously important when eating raw fish. We felt like the bowls were a very good size and very fulfilling. They are loaded with toppings and the amazing sauces! It's so nice to find a place where you can eat out, tastes good AND is healthy. We will be making frequent trips back for sure.

I was super excited to try Ono Poke when I saw a few pictures on Instagram. I've always been hesitant to trying poke bowls because I don't like raw fish. I built my own bowl because all the pre-made bowls had raw fish. The employee/owner was super friendly and patient as I went down the assembly of protein, sides, and toppings. They have 3 sizes: snack, regular, and large. I ordered a large build-your-own-bowl. It was the perfect portion for lunch in my opinion (depending on how hungry you are). In my bowl, I had white rice, crab stick, seaweed, fish eggs, cucumbers, broccoli, and corn. You can choose how many portions of each for the build your own bowl. Overall, I would return and recommend try out!

I took the advice, and I'm really glad I did. It was fantastic--stacked with pulled pork, smoked sausage, and beef brisket, all topped with slaw and BBQ sauce on a bun. I also tried a bite of the barbecue bologna, which is a thick-cut slice served on white bread, and that didn't disappoint either. Inside gets pretty smoky, so you'll probably prefer sitting outside. Luckily, there are plenty of picnic tables and seating areas to choose from. I didn't catch the name of the guy who helped me, but he was friendly, energetic, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, a really enjoyable visit.

This place has a warm and inviting feel, that makes it feel like home. Since I was little indecisive on what to opt for, I decided on two entrees. This included the jerk chicken Alfredo & the Catfish and grits. Immediately, I noticed how large the portions are (which is a plus). As it relates to both entrees, the catfish and grits was pretty decent. In my honest opinion the star was the perfectly seasoned and crisp fish (grits were ok) but, I would definitely order again. The jerk chicken Alfredo was quite tasty. It was perfectly seasoned and jammed packed with flavor. (I would only suggest an extra side of Alfredo, as I love a creamy Alfredo pasta. ) Not pictured, I ordered the Berry Me & Jolly Rancher juice. These were a much better and exclusive option instead of a traditional punch packed with sugar. All in all, I would definitely revisit Trap Fusion again.

I ordered wings and two dry slabs of ribs. When my family and I finally decided to eat the ribs on Monday, they were disgusting. They had seasoning caked all on them, and they were overly salty. We wiped off the caked-on seasoning and tried to eat around the saltiness. I was praying the 2nd slab was not the same. When I opened them on 5/27 to see, they were the same. I was trying to avoid calling because I just didn't feel like being bothered. But I called. I left a message for the manager to return my call that morning because "he is in the middle of an interview." So I called back that afternoon and was transferred to Ethan. I explained the situation to him. As I was speaking, he kept making the noise un-huh. So, I stopped talking and asked him what it meant aside from it just being rude as hell. He went on to explain that they missed a step and did not rub in the seasoning and shake it off. I don't care. It's an internal quality issue that should be handled with the prep and cook staff. Not me. He asked if I had my receipt and, in a tone that suggested he was doing me a favor, advised me that he would replace the slab. No apologies for the inconvenience or anything.   After my long workday, I went all the way downtown to get the slab replaced. In person, Ethan is just as rude. I asked if he was going to replace both slabs. He could clearly see the quality was trash. He said no and that he would only replace one. Then went on to offer me sides and a slice of cake. No, thank you. I can afford sides and cake just like I did those trash slabs of ribs. Those slabs of ribs cost $62.40 before taxes. With taxes probably being another 5 or 6 dollars. Your mistakes and poor quality should not cost me. He had a young lady bring the replacement slab back out to me. She didn't say thank you or anything. One thing I know is that a white man or woman patronizing your business would not have been treated this way. As a result, moving forward I will spend my Black woman dollars elsewhere on barbeque and smoked chicken wings. Also, I removed you all from my company's approved catering list where we spend a nice amount with you all yearly. Tell Ethan, thanks for helping me see the light and not spend money where I'm not respected and where my customer experience isn't valued.
