When we finally confirmed our trip dates and family photo session date, I immediately contacted Onorina Jomir in hopes of getting on their calendar for our desired date and time. This company is on point with their client inquiry process as they responded in a timely manner and provided all the information needed to proceed with booking. The communication was great with the management and Khristine, my assigned artist for the day, throughout the entire process. Khristine arrived on time and was so friendly throughout our appointment. She provided great insight on how she would achieve my barely there natural make up look and voluminous hair style. Khristine is a talented artist and just a kind person overall. She nailed my desired look which made me feel absolutely beautiful but still myself for our family photo session. Khristine made the entire experience a positive one. Not to mention she was kind enough to not cancel my appointment even though she was requested by a well known designer for Paris fashion week the day of our session. We decided to do our vow renewal ceremony in Paris for our 10th wedding anniversary. Onorina came highly recommended by our officiant. Onorina was very accommodating of day and time. We had to postpone to an year later due to covid and also had to start 3:30 in the morning of the day. She came to our hotel room early morning and I immediately felt very comfortable with her. It didn't feel like that we were meeting for the first time in person. We had such a great time with all the conversations we had with Onorina while she worked her magic, that the time just flew by. I had shared a bunch of examples of hair & makeup that I had wanted and Onorina made sure I got as close to it as possible while also making sure it works for me. End result was just perfect and looked amazing in pictures. I hope we can visit Paris again and take more pictures to create more such beautiful memories. I had a delightful experience working with Onorina Jomir Beauty for my wedding in Paris. I was planning everything remotely, from the US, without the use of a Wedding Planner. Onorina was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. She had advice for me and made me feel as if I was her only client, even though I know that is certainly not the case. She was the best of all of the beauty vendors I "auditioned" and I am so delighted with my choice. My sister and mother (a very tough critic) were also very happy with their hair and make up. At one point in our communication, I conveyed to Onorina that I was self-conscious about my appearance and was sad that I may not feel or look as beautiful as other brides on their wedding days. She reassured me that we would work together to make sure I felt beautiful and that every bride should feel beautiful on her wedding day, and even though I was skeptical (knowing how hard I am on myself), she was right. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup, and Onorina made sure that I was made up and got what I paid for but that I still looked like me. I did feel truly beautiful that day and smile when I see the photos. We also had a long day. Our hair and makeup session started around 10AM and our reception lasted until 1:30 AM the next day. I'm very pleased with how well my hair and makeup lasted all day. Through the first look, the photos, the ceremony, and the reception. I can't say enough. Onorina was just a pleasure to work with. I reached out to her before my trip to Paris to inquire about her services. My husband Mark and I wanted to take pictures as a post-wedding suit. We hired a professional photographer to shoot this as well, so I figured a professional makeup artist was required. Onorina was available on the day of our post-wedding photos (10.10.15). She was also reasonably priced (trust me ladies, I don't regret a thing!). Just a reminder, I am based in Cali and she is in Paris so our conversations were very much through email and I didn't feel that the distance was a hindrance in her work. She was detailed and also I loved that I was able to pay using Paypal. (Safe, fast and secure). Before I arrived in Paris, she also wanted an inspiration board (using Pinterest) so she can familiarize herself with the look I was going for ( talk about preparation right?). When I arrived in Paris, she reached out to me the day before our shoot which as a client I appreciate very much. The day of our shoot she was at our hotel at 7am. She was on time and very easy to work with. She used organic makeup on me as well which was a plus. Onorina also speaks English but is fluent in French. It was so easy to communicate with her and YES, her smile is contagious! At the end of her service, she even helped my husband and I locate our photographer at the Louvre! I honestly can say that I would recommend her to any other bride who needs a HMUA in Paris. Aside from her reasonable rates, she makes sure she leaves knowing you are happy with her work. My experience with Onorina was fantastic, I highly recommend her! She was recommended to me by engagement shoot photographer and I am so glad I took her recommendation. Onorina's passion for hair, make-up, and skincare really shined through. Her knowledge and awareness of skin tones and what colors are complimentary was also apparent and very helpful because I am quite clueless! We chit chatted through out the whole session, it felt like I was getting my make-up done by a close girlfriend. The final look was beautiful, both my fiancé and me loved it. I wish I was rolling in the money because I would fly her out to do my makeup and hair for my wedding in a heart beat! She was nice enough to offer to give me some names of some contacts she had in California. The only thing, which did not impact the quality of her services, was that she was late. However, she did contact me to let me know and I did not feel that she was rushing to finish my hair and make-up. I had my hair and makeup done by Onorina for our engagement photoshoot in Paris while on a trip visiting from the U.S. We were doing a sunrise photoshoot so I needed to be ready to go by about 6:45am... the thought of getting myself ready for that time was a difficult one and what's an English speaking girl to do in a foreign country? Thankfully, my photographer recommended me to Onorina. I'm so very glad he did! Onorina and I were able to exchange a few emails before I came to Paris as she speaks several languages (how cool!) It was easy to understand and reserve my time with her and pay via paypal. She was so gracious in agreeing to come to our hotel at 4:30am (she probably left her house much earlier than that, oye vey.. thank you Onorina!!) and immediately she came in and had all her supplies and was quick in getting set up in our hotel room. All her tools were clean and fresh and her products in good condition which immediately put me at ease. It was easy to strike up a conversation with her and she got to work straight away on my hair, I could tell she took time to perfect every piece and curl it beautifully just like the inspiration pictures I showed her.. then did my makeup also going with my inspiration/theme/mood and put on the finishing touches. She also put on my first ever pair of fake eyelashes which I LOVED and I am so thankful I had them for the photoshoot. I looked and felt beautiful and I'm so glad to have had this experience while in the most romantic city in the world.
