This EnRoute isn't all that exciting. Tim Hortons, Subway and A&W at inflated prices. Subway closes at 7pm during the week and also doesn't support the rewards program. I managed to get here before closing once and the sub was pretty good. Friendly staff and well made. Tim Hortons is standard and I'm not sure if they do TimRewards. A&W seemed very pricey so I skipped it. Washrooms were clean when I was there. Not the best EnRoute, but not the worst I suppose! read more

This is the second last Onroute service stop before Toronto along Highway 401 from points east. (The last stop is Onroute Newcastle.) It has washrooms, food options (Tim Hortons, A&W, Popeyes and Onmarket (a convenience store that sells prepackaged foods, among other items, including gift cards, you know, last minute gift for those you are visiting? Lol)), a CIBC ATM, and of course, gas (Canadian Tire brand). There used to be a Pizza Pizza here, but it's now a Popeye's Chicken. So don't expect any pizza at this location, lol. It's similar to other Onroute locations. I actually miss the days when the service stops were all a little different, but ever since they were branded Onroute, they are all cookie cutter like. I personally like it when locations have their own personality, like subway stations in Toronto and Montreal, they are all different. LRT stations in Ottawa are all the same, boring! Truck driver- arrived at 10:45 pm. A&W didn't want to cook anything. We were told only one patty, grill was already cleaned, they didn't want to dirty it. Very rude. Why are these Onroutes not open later? Tons of trucks, no food and "convenience" store closed. Truckers don't matter to you?? Very dirty . Get it together. read more

Mens bathrooms smelled of strong urine. But at least theres restaurants, would only recommend to stop for a coffee at tims.

I'd give this rest stop 3.5 stars. I have been here twice, normally when I am travelling to either Montreal or Ottawa. It's clean. It's crowded on long weekends, like this one. As expected, food is expensive. I bought a tuna sandwich on multigrain bread that came up to $6.20. It's a good thing that I needed a snack and a break. There isn't anything else that I want to eat here. The eating area is chaotic. A woman told me that my purse was knocked off my chair after her son first bolted into the back of my seat in which I was seated, and somehow managed to pull my fairly weighty purse onto the floor on the chair beside me. Coming from the U.S, these Onroute stops were amazing! Bathrooms, multiple food chain choices to get food from, snacks, small gift shops, a place to take a break from a long drive. We need these in the U.S.A.!!! read more

This is a pretty standard Onroute, located on the Westbound side of the 401. There's a gas station, a Tims, an A&W, a convenience store, and a Pizza Pizza. It's got a large enclosed space, and tidy bathrooms. Overall a decent Onroute. read more

Just a quick stop for gas this time around. Always busy on the weekends but today wasn't too bad. We didn't make our usual Tim Horton's visit so this was one of our quickest stops ever. read more

Very nice place with friendly attendants. I just wish some of the customers were nice as well. For some reason, several customer were bugging the attendants for no good reason and I admire how the clerks remained calm about the whole ordeal. Good pit stop from Toronto to Montreal. read more

Stopped for a coffee, breakfast and gas. For travellers there is no better place for a pit stop before getting back on your way. I had to edit my review to say thank you to ONroute. You see today is Remembrance Day and they stopped all operations for a moment of silence. I sincerely appreciate this honourable gesture of respect. read more

ONroute Trenton - Gas Stations Near Me - Brighton, Ontario

This review could be biased considering I escaped a traffic deadlock into here. This OnRoute was god sent. I was dozing off from the carbon monoxide I had breathed in for half an hour when I detoured into this OnRoute. To say this OnRoute is perfectly, expertly, conveniently, opportunistically located in a stretch that is fated to be jammed every long weekend is an understatement. No contest 5 stars for the location. The building is in essence one large food court. Food wise, there are Tim's, A&W, Brioche Doree, Pizza Pizza and a convenience store. Other than fried chicken, they have the fast food bases covered pretty well. The restrooms are sufficiently clean (ladies one). All the hand dryers work. When I left, my stomach was full, my head was caffeinated, my bladder was emptied. I also bought lottery tickets for the weekend. I was ready for the traffic jam to home. read more

Options are always limited when you want a very quick bite while on the road. We stopped at Trenton Onroute on our way to Montreal and ate at Brioche Doree for the first time. 2 tuna sandwiches - $17.58 1 tomato olive pastry - $3.89 Total $24.26 after taxes. The croissant tasted old, though the tuna salad portion was good. The tomato olive pastry was undercooked (bottom part was gooey) and oddly sweet. Very expensive relative to both quantity and quality. This Onroute's Tim Hortons would have been a much better choice. As for the Onroute facility overall - the washrooms were clean and there were many stalls. And you know, there's gas to fill up your tank so you can get to your location and eat good food there instead ;) read more

Great location. Adequate seats for all. Good variety of food including A&W, Pizza Pizza, and Tim Hortons. Small gift shop and CIBC ATM as well. There's also a Tim Hortons drive through so that's a win! I like this stop and I usually get A&Ws apple turnover. Super warm and yummy! Come by for a visit to charge up some energy prior to your road trips. read more

After a treacherous drive from Toronto back to Montreal, I stopped here for a late lunch. Even at 230 pm the place was jammed. OnRoutes are generally clean. This one was filthy, with all empty tables a complete mess. There are not the best restaurant choices here ( the obligatory Tim's, an A and W, and a Pizza Pizza). That being said, the Tim Horton's was very efficient and the restrooms were cleaner than the rest of the place. read more

The washrooms are very well-maintained and clean, especially considering the traffic the comes through. On both of my visits, there were no line ups for the men's or women's restrooms. The customer service is friendly and efficient: also surprising, considering how many people are being served. I expected the service to be, at a minimum, curt. It was great. I have visited this location many times and recently I had the pleasure of being served by a very pleasant lady at 2 a.m. in the morning. She is one of the friendliest employee you have there and I believe her name is Barb and she said she usually works in the kitchen . I told her I usually stop at the one in Port Hope but I think I will be stopping at this location more. She had no problem making me a fresh pot of coffee as I like it once it is just made and she talked and was very happy the whole time I was there. Good job Barb read more

Neither the biggest nor the best Onroute by any stretch. But it's spacious, clean, and has a massive bathroom. Good stop on a long road trip, but of course, not the greatest selection of fast food. read more

Had a bad experience here last Sunday (March 24th 2019, around 6pm). The place was minimally crowded. We were a group of 4 and we didn't think much but sat on one of the wheelchair accessible tables. The manager came running and said please change tables as this is for wheelchair only (didn't know this was restricted to wheelchair customers only). We immediately changed to a nearby table without saying anything. None of the wheelchair tables were occupied nor were there any wheelchair customers. But, later on another family, without a wheelchair member came and sat on the exact table. I was observing what the reaction of the manager would be. But she simply didn't say anything. She actually went to their table to compliment on something and later just acted as nothing was wrong. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I was waiting to meet her face to face to ask her for explanation on what happened but we didn't get a chance. Based on what I experience, being a south Asian family, and the ones who sat there later were Caucasian, it feels like an act of prejudice for no reason what so ever. I am trying to find a way to complain this to upper management, but I can't seem to find a place to do so. Can anyone help me? read more
