The staff are very friendly, and the facilities appear clean…read more Unfortunately, the place is not peaceful and relaxing, and I don't think the person who did my facial - LaDonna- really knew what she was doing. She also was cutting hair. The room was bright. She played spa music from her phone that was way too loud, and didn't turn it down when I told her I was having trouble hearing her over the music. She also kept receiving texts that would ding loudly and momentarily stop the music. She then proceeded to clean my face by pouring on some kind of wash - directly into my eyes. It was so incredibly painful, I shot up off the table, begging for her to get that out of my eyes. She apologized and started handing me tissues until finally getting me a wet washcloth. It took several minutes of wiping to even be able to open my eyes. I later washed my eyes in the bathroom sink, but they stayed red and swollen for hours. She said the wash was thick, so she'd added water to thin it. I let her continue the treatment, but it was hard to relax when my eyes hurt so much. She did a coffee scrub, hot towels and some moisturizer, and ended up leaving sugar scrub all over my face and neck. Overall, it just was a very poor experience and I would not go back nor recommend. I told the front desk about my experience, but was not offered any type of acknowledgment for my trouble, just another wet towel. They even had the nerve to try and sell me the products she'd used on me!
