This stay at the Open Cross Ranch was one of the most relaxing, rejuvenating vacation we have been on. The guest house was very clean, welcoming and had everything that you could possibly need, including umbrellas and flashlights! Mac and Billie were extremely accommodating and informative. They were available if we needed anything and still very unobtrusive. This is a working ranch and it was interesting to listen to Mac tell about the ranch and watch him going about his daily activities. We will definitely return for another extended stay! read more

One of the loveliest trips I have experienced in a stunning landscape. I went with a group of girlfriends on an overnight get-away. We stopped at a vineyard along the way and arrived in late afternoon at the immaculate, charming Open Cross Ranch. The owners/hosts could not have been more gracious, and even the beautiful horses were friendly. The guest houses are charming and have authentic ranching antiques collected over years by the family. They include quilts made by the hostess and every amenity you would ever need in the kitchen. We stayed up late sitting around the fire pit wrapped in soft blankets, telling stories, and watching the stars. We came away refreshed and with beautiful pears we were invited to pick from trees gracing the property. I highly recommend this lovely place. read more
