This dental practice is really good. It is conveniently located on a high street so you can do your…read moreshopping on the same day! It has a comfortable waiting room which is quite small but still fits everyone and it does not get too crowded! It is very friendly and the staff and receptionist are not rude at all and would answer any of your questions. The dentists are also very nice and ask friendly questions and conversations. If someone had to change dentists I would recommend this one as they are very good and also very nice. Calling for an appointment is also very easy and convenient times if you are busy.

It looks pretty new, and I was pleased that when they said 11am for my appointment that it actually was my appointment and not just one of two slots in the day with 30 people booked into each one (seriously, Hillingdon Hospital used to do this for these types of appointments... I used to hate all the waiting there when my Mum was getting the same appointments done). The waiting area is nice enough, tidy seats. Rather large Quentin Blake mural on the wall (I just Googled it, and it's actually a commissioned piece - http://www.quentinblake.com/index.php/john-moreton-books/punky-mouse-for-a-day-1962/item/318-2007zog3 - for that alone, I'm giving an extra star) in the Children's play area. Staff were polite enough and the person who did the eye test was good. I didn't have to wait around too long and I was in and out in about half an hour, which was far less than I expected based on my previous experience at Hillingdon Hospital. Hopefully I'll get to come back here for my next appointment in 2017.

After months of researching gynaecologists I chose to see Mr Morris from Rapid Access Gynaecology and it was the best decision. He listened and put me at total ease with what was a very embarrassing problem! After consultations and tests I was correctly diagnosed (what a relief!) and received surgery to a very high standard. After care following surgery was incredible and Mr Morris was and still is an email away to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend him and his team.

The staff seem to have a good knowledge of most of the products and i can tell you from experience that their skincare products do work. They provide interesting healthy foods and do a meal deal where you can get a snack drink and sandwich for £2.99 and if you have an advantage card you can buy 5 and get the 6th free (If you buy 5 in one month). In my opinions boots is the first place to go for health products as its never failed me in past.

So many doctors and nurses had seen my dad but they didn't refer him to an oncologists until it was too late, he passed away 1st October 20016! My wife was began having some severe eye pain while we were visiting in London (we're from the US),…read moreand we came to the Western Eye Hospital for a consultation on what was happening. We quickly saw a warm and friendly triage nurse who assessed the problem and set my wife up for an appointment with an ophthalmologist who was located upstairs. Because my wife was in a wheelchair and the lift wasn't functioning properly, the doctor came downstairs and saw my wife in an examining room on the ground floor. She did an excellent examination and gave us some good insights into the problem. Then she prescribed an antibiotic drop which was filled in the pharmacy, and we were able to leave fairly quickly to get back to our hotel. All of the staff were just wonderful: so caring and supportive- they made us feel like family, and we really appreciated the way we were both treated. Thank you, Staff, of Western Eye Hospital, for treated us so well, making our visit so pleasant, and helping my wife's eye heal from the problem that brought us to the hospital.

I've just received the most condescending treatment at a medical institution - ever. Glad I can…read morehave a bit of a rant here, for what it's worth ... I last came here one New Year's Eve when a friend had been poked in the eye by my cat - don't ask, just one of these stupid random accidents. Despite a rather long wait, on that occasion we were treated with respect and empathy. What a difference a few years make ... There is no reception to speak of and the security guard on duty only read out my appointment letter. He didn't seem to know that outpatients need to check in electronically - figured it out eventually. A bit of a bad taste joke as most people attending eye hospitals are at the elder end of the scale and don't generally see to well. What a pleasant surprise, then, to be called at the exact time of the first of my two appointments. The guy on duty disappeared so quickly I had trouble locating the door he was hiding behind. What followed felt a bit like an episode of Little Britain with several sketches merged into one - he was so obviously bored with his instruction mantra ... I was told off several times for not doing the field of vision test correctly - how would he know, he was busy wandering about and chatting to his colleagues, instructing another patient and making my machine shake?! He then rather casually mentioned that the doctor was off sick and that I would have to come back another time for the results and for my main test. No apology nor explanation of how to make a new appointment (I've tried all routes, left voice messages and emails and hope for the best). Luckily, most opthalmic conditions are not immediately life threatening, but there is no excuse for staff to be this rude.

I'm not going to comment about individual services - with the NHS it can be entirely down to who you are due to see, about what and when. So, instead I'll concentrate on the facilities available and access: The hospital is served by at least 5 buses, but only the 261 and R1 actually enter the grounds. Most ward visiting hours tend to be 2-4pm and 6-8pm, though the nursing staff are pretty flexible if you give 'em advance warning. Visitors are pretty well catered for: there is a coffee bar and restaurant open during daytime hours, a newsagent which stays open longer and various vending machines. Tip: Finding a parking space at peak times is enough to give you a coronary however (as do the charges), so I recommend using the Sainsbury's car park next door. The hospital is pretty quick to get to from most places, as it is on the A21.

Poor service. I…read morewent to the urgent care centre and was very disappointed with the service I'm 17th weeks pregnant and was experiencing a lot of pain and feeling generally unwell. I was also worried about my unborn child. The dr that I saw was so pantronising. And spoke down to me as thou I had wasted her time, and was suggested that my pain was just due to growing pains! Please I dont choose to want to sit for two hours on my only day off to be told this. It turned out that I had uti. I asked the dr if she could check the baby's heartbeat as I was concerned she advised that they didn't offer this service due to patient misuse (which she was directing at me)!!! I have worked for the NHS for 18 years. And have never been so disappointed with the service.

GPs: I had to talk to a different doctor every time I consulted. Most seem bored and uncaring, if…read morenot plain rude. One of them diagnosed me with something I didn't have based on very little evidence. One of them gave an incorrect answer to a basic but crucial question of mine. One of them could not make their own decisions + failed to clearly mention all symptoms on my referral letter, which made my problem seem less urgent than it actually was. Reception staff: Most are rude and incredibly difficult to communicate with. I have been given inaccurate information on several occasions as well as the wrong testing kit. Also, patients are asked to wear a face covering but reception staff don't (as of July 2020). Overall, virtually every experience I have had with this practice has been unbelievably disappointing and I am truly worried about other people who have far more serious conditions and whose health lies in the hands of Riverside Medical Centre's GPs and reception staff.
