The day I contacted John I felt that life as I knew it had ended. John met with me 1 hour after my first call to him and we spoke for about an hour and half. Upon completion of this meeting I was no longer scared. I left his office in near tears knowing exactly what my options were and exactly what he could and could not do in handling this legal matter. Never once did John make any guarantees and never once did he make me feel as if I was just another FEE. He proposed what his strategy would be in each option and when we were close to completion of this meeting he told me up front what all costs would be in regards to fees and fines from the courts to what his fee would be. I walked out the door knowing what this would cost me now, in a few weeks and a few months. I left confident I would see no surprises in the financial parts of this process and he would go in and fight to either make this legal matter go away or soften it where I could move on with my life without obstacles. I made the decision later that day to hire John and it was a matter of days before he contacted me and said he was already in touch with the Prosecutor to move the court date out farther in the future. A few weeks later I met John again at the 1st court date. He said he looked over everything the Prosecutor have provided and was not impressed with what they had, he asked me what I thought about telling them they need to provide more to include having the arresting Police officer present for questioning because of contradicting statements in his report. The Prosecutor agreed but stated that it will not change or lower the charge against me. At that point John could have told me that's all he had for me and I likely would have agreed and paid all the fines and fees and walked away. John's advice was let's go to the next court date and challenge these people and so we did. That brings us to 1/18/19 where John spoke to Prosecutor again who now took some time to review the case and come to the conclusion the case was weak for the original charges and agreed to lower all charges to an acceptable level. The point of me writing this is we all have that opinion about an Attorneys and yes we know many of them just want a fee and could care less where you end up. John Leunig met with me, told me what he could and could not do, told me what it would cost and went and fought for me with his experience and education and advised me regularly what the status was and if I had a question he would promptly return my call and keep me at ease throughout the case. I would call John for anything and KNOW I m getting his all and no surprises. Thank You John you're an excellent Attorney and a Gentleman.
