The owner, Ken Getney, will say anything to get you down to Addison. Turns out the pre buy inspection found on the Turbo 210 I was looking at needed a $3500.00 turbo. Ken tells me he will get it handled with the owner of the plane and it 'wont be a problem' to get him to pay for the turbo. Well the repairs are done and the owner won't budge on the turbo price. Ken won't budge either. In the mean time my trade in plane has a 'problem' with the engine leaking oil out of top of the block and devalues my plane $5000 on top of the turbo expense. Bottom line is he had me in a corner. I flew down to Addison in good faith his word was good on the purchase aircraft and my trade in. This company is a fly by night gig. Turns out Ken has been in the business moving from airport to airport out - running deals gone bad. By all means look elsewhere for your next aircraft. You'll be better off not dealing with Ken. He does not tell the truth. I wish I had. read more
