We love to dine here at the pre-show buffet. The seating is one of a kind, in the lobby of Myerson Symphony Hall designed by the venerable Mr. I. M. Pei. With curved glass-and-steel wall rising to the glazed circular ceiling, it felt surreal bathing in the lights and sounds of live piano, tinkling silvers and plates... The buffet menu is rather standard but quality is high. It has everything: cheese and charcuterie, salads, soups, fruits; choice of protein always includes fish, chicken and a carving station; plenty of deserts too. Reservation is easy, servers are always courteous and helpful. And the price, very very reasonable (although it went up a bit recently, still a good deal). Not sure why there are so few reviews in Yelp, I definitely noticed more and more patrons. read more

This restaurant used to be decent. But since Covid it's gotten worse and worse. Eat there on December 2nd 2023 before the Dallas Symphony Christmas Pops. What a complete disappointment. So limited. My husband can't eat cheese and couldn't even get Salad with cheese and only has Caesar dressing. Nothing was anything but mediocre. Last time after eating there for years. I'm done. Didn't even deserve one star. read more

Pre-Covid this was a great value and excellent spot to grab a bite before the show. The reopening has brought new management and a new chef: reopening is great but unfortunately the food and service are awful. I would avoid at all costs - food is at a Denny's level at best. Table for 2 without drinks with tip clocks in at $80. Chef ( not sure if the term applies) is offering cafeteria grade slop. Sad to see but this is the reality. read more

If your going to the Dallas Symphony at the Myerson, please consider Opus as a dinner option. Our cost was $30 per person, is buffet style, with soup, salad, vegetable, and main course tables. Tonight's food was 5-star, incredible quality of cheeses and fruits, steamed vegetable, carrot ginger soup, chicken cutlets, tilapia, and apricot ham. Finally, a bread pudding that solidly reminded me of New Orleans. A+ read more
