In this day and age everyone of us has a mobile phone almost so finding somewhere that repairs and…read morespares can be purchased cheaply is a must. I beleive that this shop is just the place, situated on a very busy high road parking can be something of a problem due to only a couple of bays outside the shop, however it is directly opersite two local supermarkets so you can alway use their carparks. The last time i had to go there was to have a phone flashed as it had given up the ghost completely, my son took in the phone and was quoted a price of £10 and it would be ready next day. He was out that way the next so called in the store, but having no receipt on him they refused to give him the phone, which altho inconvient in that i had to go out to the store, it shows that their sercurity is spot on. I at least know that my phone can not be claim by just anyone. I returned later that day to collect the phone that was now working prefectly and was met by a lovely friendly man that looked at my receipt and said oh they quoted you wrong, well you have a bargain then and altho it should have been more i just paid the original price quoted. The store is very clearly set out and covers a full range of accessories and spare parts, the staff are pleasent and friendly. I would deffo shop there again

There are add-on services; such as diabetes/glaucoma tests, the staff offer them but are not pushy. The opticians are very good and offer a very good quality service. They actually look to serve you and find out what is best for you rather than just go for the quick buck. Once you have your prescription you're passed on to the 'sales' staff who again are very good. They are pleasant and chatty and try to assist you to find what you want rather than just sell you the highest price items. I am very pleased with the service and can recommend highly.

I go in there every week day to post items and a few times a week I buy toiletries from there. I will not list the names of the ladies who run the Pharmacy and shop counter, for fear of missing somebody out, but they are all so lovely. I will mention Bernard, as he is the only male in this female dominated bastion; and he is a lovely person too. They are so kind to the many elderly people who frequent the shop and nothing is too much trouble. They will collect prescriptions and deliver them. The majority of the large range of non prescription medicines and toiletries that they sell, are far cheaper than the large supermarkets; yet another good reason to visit this store. As for the Post Office, the 4 lovely ladies are Kim, Jenny, Jane and Mary; and once more, the service they offer is second to none. As with the shop counter staff, they have unlimited patience with the elderly, particularly those who struggle to remember their pin numbers.

The guy in this shop is always very welcoming (even when busy) and will help you with whatever you need. I went in and asked about magic cards last week and he got everything down for me and let me read every packet so I could choose my favourite pack - no pressure, just left me to it which I thought was awesome. He understood his product and when I asked questions he had the answers I needed. He also has train sets in stock with everything a hobbiest of this nature would require. He has a lot of model kits in stock too which are what my family have always been interested in. He can get you whatever you need and can inform you what is coming out soon (which is very handy around Christmas when trying to buy something a fellow geek hasn't already got!) Extra notes: *** Closed on some weekdays (double check before traveling far) *** Card machine available in the shop *** Would be difficult for a wheelchair user... But I'm sure he would accommodate you. :)

From toy soldiers to train sets and everything in between. It has a fantastic range of military models for all periods and associated accessories; paints, glues, scenery, tools etc. They tend to carry something for every pocket from the starter price right through to high end and if they don't have something they can usually order it. In addition they also have a lot of second hand items so it's great for grabbing a bargain every now and then. The staff are hugely knowledgeable and will assist where they can and unlike many places they try to sort out what you want to achieve not what will cost you the most. They want satisfied customers that come back not just a quick buck - hence the reason they have a loyal customer base who come back time and again. Very highly recommended.
