They made my former office's company planner, which came out really really nice. They were so easy to work with! Mariel handled the project and worked with us for several weeks as we made our own design. She merely advised how we could go about it, and which materials we could use. They had their own graphic designers who could do it for us, but since we had our own concept and our own designer, Primex just did the actual production of the pieces. I only had to provide a page plan and the final prints & layouts, and they were able to work with it to our exact specifications. They were very patient and receptive to comments during our back and forth, from type of paper, (I needed FSC quality paper and they had 'em!) type of cut, texture and finish of the cover, and the colors and hues of the final copy. Mariel was very patient and diligent with going through everything and going back and forth to our office to present samples, give other suggestions, and answer our questions. Mostly, she was very fair with the pricing and even advised on how we could save more and be more efficient with our design. It wasn't just about making money off of the project. I don't want to include technical industry terms so I will just say all my recordings here have been impeccable - from VO sessions, to finding the best score for a TVC, to creating sound highlights for an existing material, to producing radio ads from scratch. Two days ago, I paid for the last extension of my stay for 9 remaining days, until August 31, 2024. I previously (during the first week of August) decided to cancel my extension after the 22nd of August because I was alerted about the likelihood of having to temporarily relocate to another room. However, I was offered to extend my stay in room 311 until August 31 by a hotel worker whose name resembles the name Dina. This person assured me several times that if I extended my stay (in the same room) for an additional 9 days, I wouldn't have to change rooms. Also, for the last 2 weeks, every time I passed the front desk, I was reminded that I needed to pay for those nine days as soon as possible. It is remarkable that just 2 days later the same people started pestering me with the demands to move out of the room I have been staying for so long because of some construction project they didn't know about when they took my money. The hotel's guest is not expected to be concerned with the management's project; he is supposed to be concerned with his own convenience and packing stuff to move to another room, unpacking them there and then packing them again in a few days to fly from the Philippines is definitely a major inconvenience. The management didn't make any effort to make up for the inconvenience it caused to the hotel's guest and seems to be unconcerned that the reputation of the Hotel Royal Amsterdam (and by extension Queen Hotel Angeles City) will suffer from the publicity surrounding this incident, or from me pursuing any other avenues to respond to having been offered this " offer I can't refuse " to paraphrase the manager's final remarks. The manager acknowledged that his failure to inform his reception staff in advance about sending construction workers to the third floor was his fault. They're actually a mish-mash of anything computer and internet related, having an internet café and a digital design studio all in one shop. I've brochure-hoarded (one of my guilty pleasures, sue me) one time and I found out they do web design packages, as well as designs related to company branding. They can do your logos, letterheads, IDs, whatever the hell you need to look even more pro in the business world. I haven't exactly tried (or thought about purchasing) those packages though. They can cost a lot for a starting business owner after all. But I did try printing my own digital paintings there. Sometimes, there are problems with the printer calibration, but they do allow printing a sample first so you can request adjustments. It was satisfying nonetheless, and printing my digital paintings here had gotten pretty addicting. I now send them as postcards during the hoidays to friends all over the world, hah!
