After several train stations, in Torun I finally figured out how to get on the station WiFi. Hint…read more- enter your train #. Just look at your ticket and start entering the numbers that are not your seat number. The KM # worked for me.

Ticket purchase was easy. She just handed us the ticket verses the usual being told loudly in Polish our seat and track number, etc.
Not to many amenities-- 1 sit down coffee shop, 1 grab and go coffee shop, Relay magazine shop.
Rumor has it that the trains were terrible up till a few years ago. All things being equal the Polish train system is the way to go when seeing the country. The Pendolina trains are the fastest and the most modern. 1st class will cost more but worth it especially if you've got luggage.
