He found that the nuts holding the rear axle were loose. Ian got the correct tools and fixed the problem within minutes. I brought it in this morning, and within 60 SECONDS had identified the problem (caused by a dodgy fix of my clutch during a previous service from a DIFFERENT garage.) He had the issue fixed in under 5 minutes and then told me I could just 'buy him a drink sometime!!!!!!!' as it was an easy fix. Personally I will be ONLY using Goodmans from now on and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone, they are brilliant. Tom diagnosed the problem, phoned me with several updates throughout the time I had my car with him and informed me on parts to replace before going ahead with the work. Now I have a new complete clutch assembly, including clutch fork, upper & lower clutch fork bushes, clutch fork repair kit, release bearing guide bush and clutch cable installed. For those who know about French cars these types of jobs are not for the faint hearted, but this was nothing new for the wonder boy genius Tom! I highly recommend TJB's quality of service, workmanship, knowledge, customer satisfaction and most importantly the competitive pricing strategy(note: Peugeot Dealers would have ripped my right arm for a job like this). I also wanted to alert other customers to the possibility that Lynette and Geoff may be moving due to the site being sold to developers. Bought a new car mercedes a class that is ten years old and needed front brakes and shock…read moreabsorber's. Took into Motormaster garage in Leatherhead. Surrey KT22 7UE (RAC originally took me to that garage with previous car)have used before a few times and always a service was around £700.00 each time! Asked if he could also do a service, recieved bill of £754.00 with new front brakes. The labour charge alone was £359.00 for the service and front brakes. Then was given another bill for the front shock absorber's, pipes, belt kit, drive kit, sensor, roll bar bushes and rear brake pads to have those done! The bill total was £1345 on top of the service. When I asked if this all needed doing he replied yes but would need to bring car back again as big job? Took the car to Leatherhead motor company instead and they were wonderful took the car in straight away and did me a cost of £415.00 with a replacement car for 1 day. The back brakes did not need doing as also half of the other things did not need to be replaced for a few years, the brakes only a little rust as they were new it would wear in!

Mark will go the extra mile to make sure that the job is done to the highest standard. My Audi TT was in a rather miserable state when I was leaving it at County Coachworks for repairs. It had three scratches on the door and a dent on the panel beneath the door. Mark explained to me what the repairs would involve and gave me a very reasonable quote for the job. My car was ready in a few days and looked like new. Not only was it smooth and shiny again but also clean as never before! I can't thank Mark and his team enough for their excellent job. I was recommend County Coachworks by a nearby garage after a stone damaged my bonnet while on a…read moremotorway. It caused a small dent with two scratches and then a couple of other stone dings elsewhere on the bonnet. I have been thinking of selling it so wanted to get the bonnet fixed up so I visited Mark at County Coachworks to ask if he could do the job. These guys deal with a whole range of cars (mine is a little VW) and there were a couple of high end cars in the garage that they were working on. Mark was extremely helpful and gave me a very reasonable quote for the job - so I booked it in. I've just been down to collect it and it really is good as new, I can't remember when the bonnet last looked so pristine. It is clear that Mark and colleague are damn good at what they do, giving the same attention to detail to my 7-yr old VW Fox as the Porsche 4x4 they had to move to let me drive out. If I ever needed work again I would not hesitate to go back to County Coachworks, 100% recommended.
