We thought that he went to get something to clean ot properly because obviously no one can sit at a table with small pieces of glass on it specially with a toddler! But he left us hanging there for about 5 min & in the end we had to ask him to wipe the table & he did it with such attitude that we were almost wondering if we have done something wrong!
