They spent a great deal of time at the trial sessions and on the big day to ensure we all looked flawless and felt "wedding ready." I must mention that the products they use stay put! Your hair and makeup will look just as fresh and beautiful at the end of the night that it did at the beginning of the affair. How they manage to accomplish this so effortlessly is nothing short of magic! The ladies are true artists and the proof is in their results and the compliments we all continue to get from that very special day. When we look at the wedding photos, we are always blown away at how Ore was able to make us look and feel so incredible- a true fairytale, as my sister described it. From the hair and makeup trials to the big day, we had what is probably the best time in the world with them laughing and dancing (they brought music to the pre-sessions and to the bridal suite on the wedding day, and we sang and busted moves and hugged each other as if we'd known each other all our lives). Rose even took the time to lace up my sister's wedding gown corset! That's right- while I was being pulled in a few directions as maid-of-honor; she without hesitation, stepped in and painstakingly laced the entire back of the gown up. Outstanding job on my friends wedding for hair and makeup. Really accommodating. Highly recommend.

I had a trial with Ore and felt like I wasted my money. In discussion with the owner Karen while setting my appointment, I was clear that I didn't want to sign any contracts until after the trial. The night before my trial, I texted to ask for the address for my appointment. I was sent the wrong address and showed up at the owner's home. When I called her, she was thoroughly confused as to why I was at her house, despite it being the address she had given me. She explained that she sent me the her address for the contract info... I finally drove to the correct address. Once I arrived, the nightmare wasn't over. I came prepared with many makeup and hair inspiration pictures. The hair stylist curled my hair and threw a single braid in it and asked "Are we done?" I was absolutely dumbfounded. The makeup was several shades too dark for my skin, not blended into my neck, and you could see the lash glue on my eyes. I spent way too much money for frankly subpar services. Karen from Ore' Makeup Design did the makeup for me, my sister and sisters-in-law, and the moms at my wedding recently. Not only did she do an absolutely incredible job, she was fun to hang out with! As a generous and amazing gift, my sister-in-law and brother retained Karen's services for the wedding. This included a trial in advance, with application of eyelashes, as well as her attendance before the wedding at the venue. I'm not a big makeup person, so I was a bit worried about looking like a drag queen as I did one of the other two times my makeup was professionally done. Karen made us all look natural - just much, much better. We couldn't have been happier. Karen also recommended Marilyn for our hair, who was also so fun and did an awesome job. We can't say enough wonderful things about the dynamic duo- Karen and Marilyn -- and their team of hair and makeup artists. Karen did an incredible job with our makeup, which photographed so beautifully in our pictures. In addition to her makeup artistry, she is such a fun person to be around and she made us feel so comfortable, relaxed, and special on our wedding day. The same can be said for Marilyn. She was able to recreate hairstyles from online pictures perfectly- it was truly remarkable how she matched our requested styles flawlessly. She, too, was so invested in the both of us on our wedding day. It's hard enough to knock it out of the park with one bride, but they were able to do it with two!! We couldn't have asked for a better team to spend the day of our wedding with.
