Kinda stinky tbh. Some programs are shoved down your throats and teachers are extremely biased. I…read morewould go more into detail, but that'd be dumb. So far, I've LOVED two of my teachers. Mrs. Parnell and gunderson. Fast foward to this year, they both got fired... it seems like every time kids enjoy something about this school (for once) they consider it bad and get rid of it immediately, whether that be a teacher, activity, or program. Oh and there's no cafeteria. What kind of school doesn't have cafeteria, but has two gyms???

This school is definitely not my cup of tea. As a student who went to this school, I highly regret…read moregoing to this specific school. Boring Middle School is just as boring as their name. They didn't name their school "boring" for no reason. The teachers are absolutely awful (and that's an understatement). It's almost as if you cannot come to this school without a teacher stating their political opinion and trying to shove their opinion down their throats. Not only politics are a problem, but the safety. One of the teachers who used to work their, sexually assaulted around a dozen girls, and some of them haven't even come out about it yet. As a victim of being sexually assaulted by that teacher, the insider information I have is unbelievable. The principal is demanded to immediately report a problem like that to the superintendent immediately. She's a mandatory reporter. She didn't report the problem until 3 months later and in the meantime, girls still kept getting assaulted. And on top of this all, the principal is the most disrespectful human being and talks behind students backs and talks crap. Also, the principal is super sexist and makes us girls feel like sluts and whore's when we have holes in our jeans or if we wear a tanktop. So if your thinking about going to this school or sending your child to this school, I would read this to assure yourself what you or your child are bargaining for.

I have legimate walking challenges and cannot park far and bring my dog to park to exercise her. Fully capable able bodied High School students can walk to other parking lot for their cars. The High school students are too lazy to park in parking lot at Hazelia dog park. Why have a high school which students attend where you cannot park at the school of have permit parking makes no sense. So many students are fully able bodied capable of walking to big parking lot to get their cars yet they wanna take up spaces by dog park because too lazy to park in parking lot and take the spaces away from a disabled person who has walking challenges. Yes there's handi cap spaces in parking lot but its far to walk. Its very fustrating the High School students taking up the spaces by dog park.

As an education professional and someone with many friends in education, I offer some bold words:…read morethe opinion that Lakeridge may be the best public high school in the state. Recent scandals involving the football program notwithstanding, students continue to excel at Lakeridge. The school is filled with caring and knowledgable teachers and staff, and students know this. I truly believe that the positive mentoring relationship between students and staff is valued by both parties. A final note: if I had teenagers, I would move just to make sure they attended Lakeridge.

The teachers, Matt and Ash, have been fantastic - so kind, patient, and clearly love what they do. Our child feels safe, supported, and excited to go to school every day, which says a lot! They have gone above and beyond to make sure she thrives both socially and academically. Also, because it's a PreK-8, they get access to library, PE and Music class! She comes home every other day with a story about something she learned in PE, a new song that is stuck in her head or wonderful book that she wants to tell us about. We also love that the preschoolers get chances to interact with the older kids during their family group time - This is going to help make the transition to Kindergarten a lot easier! Since our daughter is just about to turn 4, she will be completing a second year of Pre-K in the 2025-2026 school year and we are all very excited she gets another year with Matt, Ash and many of the friends she has made this year!

Many of the pre schools that did pop up were small mom and pops with little or no availability. With no previous experience with St. Ignatius, I finally specifically searched this local school after getting waitlisted elsewhere and we signed up for it. The teachers and staff are amazing. Very loving towards the children and communicate excellent with families. They even provide multiple pictures every day via the Seesaw app so we know exactly what she is doing every day! Highly recommend St. Ignatius!

First impressions of this school,…read more I'm a student writing this at rooted, this is their first year as an open school for freshmen, so far the teachers have been amazing and open to identity, sexual orientation, mental health, and more. I've been attending Rooted for about a month 1/2, and the education and student directed time is very helpful. I've always struggled in school and the teachers have not failed to help my education grow. Currently, the school consists of about 2 classrooms that are used as there are about 25 of us. There is also a commons room, then next to the commons is a office for a break room if a student is feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just needs a break there are tools to help. There's also a therapy dog, he's in training but his name is potato. He really helps with anxiousness. The school is working on students already for next year, I'm gonna come back in 6-7 months and I'll update everyone on if my opinion stands, there's more to add but for now this is good. Side note - my teenager is the author above. From my standpoint, as a parent, I feel this school is a blessing. My student feels seen here and the staff are inclusive and respectful. I regularly receive communication from them and because it is just a small freshman class, there is a feeling of closeness, like a tight knit community of leaders and teachers who are working tirelessly to see that our kids are getting the best education and support that they possibly can. I adore the ladies who work in the office, the director is welcoming and communicative, and the teachers all go by first names. There is so much more to tell but suffice it to say that at this point, I would recommend Rooted School to anyone who wants their child to succeed.
