New menu and items. Same great atmosphere and quick service. Our go to sushi place in town. Prices did get a bit of a bump

This place is a hidden gem. The customer service was great and food was delicious. It reminds me of a diner converted to a sushi spot. We were very pleased and surprised at how good it was.

1st time here and it was fantastic. As a former restaurant manager I am pretty picky. Oriental Cuisine was clean, the food was great and the service was phenomenal! Had the Crazi Cali Roll (obviously fresh), hubs had the Teriyaki Chicken (looked plain, tasted great!) and I had the Dolsot Bibimbap (oh, yes). Will definitely be back. Go check it out!

We tried this for the first time and had a great experience! The dolsot bibimbap was delicious! My husband had pork lo mein, and that was very good as well. We will definitely be going back.

The only place I'll get sushi at in Warrensburg. The service is great and the restaurant itself is quiet and clean.

They didn't charge what I signed for, the total came out to 57$ on the receipt and got charged $90 on my card.

Sushi was lukewarm. Gross. I don't know about you guys but especially if it's uncooked fish it should NOT be warm that's disgusting. Ick!

The lacquered soup bowl and spoon are par for the course but the cast iron teapot and teacup give that authentic quality. So the miso soup is not as salty as I am accustomed to, but I believe that is a me thing, not a quality issue. The composition of seaweed and tofu is good. The salad has a ginger dressing which I appreciate, but my daughter didn't. Again, it's a her issue. The salad components were fresh. The sushi flavors were pretty good. So the fish is not as fresh as it would be in a coastal state or on an island. Hey man, this is the midwest! That being said, this is NOT grocery store sushi though, it is much better and much tastier than that. The flavors of the sauces are mild to allow the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through, something that many places err in. Typical rolls have such overpowering sauces that the actual ingredients are unidentifiable. This place does not make that mistake. The spicy tuna roll is probably the best tasting spicy tuna roll that I have had in a very long time. Most places use sriracha as the main pepper ingredient, despite it not being of Japan origins. This spicy tuna roll has more of a togarashii based pepper base. As a result it has more of an authentic Japanese flavor. Yum! The staff are very nice, greeting you with a smile. They even ask if you would like a plate cleared away before taking the dish away...my husband has had instances where he wasn't quite done and the servers whisked the dish away neglecting to ask. They checked on us frequently as well. I also am pleasantly surprised that their last call for dine in is 15 minutes before they close. My daughter wasn't available to go out for dinner until 8:45 pm. This is 20 minutes away, so it was still open when we arrived and we didn't feel rushed to place our order.

But step inside the door, and you've entered an Asian teahouse that's welcoming and cheery. The walls are painted a bright mint green, with paintings of herbs and an entire wall of customers' photos celebrating their birthdays. The place is open and airy and the tables are spaced well so that one is dining in a communal place but can still carry on a conversation in some privacy. Shelly and Lin-Lin were our servers, and they were AMAZING! Shelly greeted us and was a most hospitable hostess; when we asked for a table nearer the windows, she was happy to oblige. Both Shelly and Lin-Lin guided us through the menu, answering our questions and giving us thoughtful recommendations for food and drink choices. Our meals were EXQUISITE! My friend had the Chrisnana roll and I had the lunch special of two rolls with onion soup. Both were plated beautifully; we took photos because they were utterly charming! The Chrisnana roll was delicious; the banana was surprising but melded with the savory sushi flavors. My California roll was a perfect blend of crab, avocado and cucumber wrapped in perfectly-cooked rice. And my Sweet Potato roll was mouth-wateringly delectable! There was a crisp topping on the roll which perfectly complemented the sweet smoothness of the potato filling. Both meals were reasonably priced and served quickly. When my friend and I lingered to talk, both Shelly and Lin-Lin checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, but we never felt rushed to leave. They were so friendly and genuinely happy to have us join them at the restaurant--it was such a warm and welcoming experience! We'll definitely be back, and we'll bring more friends! Thank you so much for a delightful time!

The miso soup had an extremely strong fishy taste and was not edible. After a few bites, I could not continue eating it. The Rainbow Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll were bland and lacked the fresh flavor and quality I expect from sushi. The fish did not seem particularly fresh, and the overall meal felt underwhelming. The delivery packaging was also not very secure, which added to the disappointment. Freshness and flavor are essential when it comes to sushi, and unfortunately this meal fell far short of expectations. Based on this experience, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

We no longer felt like we were old friends and they were happy to see us, but just customers. Service was slow and sporadic. The menu is kind of the same, bit the food was completely different. I have never had salty such rolls before. Could barely eat the Alaskan roll for the salt and that was without soy sauce. Had to ask for Wasabi for our rolls. Teriyaki chicken had a nice flavor, so kudos on that part of the meal. Previously, Omo's was our go to restaurant when we got to KC. I have just been given an excuse to try other restaurants. Ambiane looks the same, but music was way too loud and even the chopsticks are nice, but not as nice as they were. But, at least they aren't disposable. We miss the old chef and waiter.
