Very disappointed in and horrified at the take away food quality. The gluggy, stodgy reheated fried rice was hideous, as was the watery, rubbery mess passed off as satay chicken. Almost broke teeth on the undercooked vegetables in all the dishes we ordered and the 'crispy fried chicken' was not only overcooked, it was incinerated, dry and inedible. The chicken and mushroom soup tasted like Campbells soup and had a few bits of unidentified fungi and two peas floating in it, whilst the prawn toast was hard, cold and mainly sesame, not prawn. If fillet steak is ordered off the menu, the restaurant should be serving fillet, not six bits of tough leather minute steak drowned in a nasty substandard sauce.
Only positive was the restaurant refunded over $70 when we took the food back and complained, when we literally poured the watery messy satay sauce out to show the manager, she went green. Pity they couldn't refund the hideous, unenjoyable experience in its entirety, it was absolutely awful. read more
