I would not consider myself a breakfast person however, this is a spot that I'll keep coming back to. Food is always delicious, coffee keeps flowing and all of their different syrups are to die for. The restaurant is decorated beautifully however I will say this place is pretty consistently packed when we go on Saturday or Sunday mornings. I will say the service here is often times pretty slow and I do believe that's due to the sheer amount of people that they're serving however, all the items on this menu make any sort of wait well worth it.

Never disappointed every time we come here! This spot has become one of our favorite breakfast places and it always hits the mark. I ordered the 4x2 -- four delicious pancakes paired with two perfectly cooked over-easy eggs. The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and incredibly satisfying. I also added a side of home fries with peppers and onions that were cooked just right with great flavor in every bite. And the thick-cut bacon... OMG! Crispy, smoky, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the corned beef hash with eggs and mini pancakes, which was another winner. Everything came out hot, fresh, and generously portioned. A special shoutout to our server Monica, who made the experience even better. She was so friendly, attentive, and constantly stopping by to refill the Kona coffee -- one of my favorites ever since visiting Hawaii. Great service really makes a difference and Monica was fantastic. Highly recommended if you're looking for an amazing breakfast spot with great food, generous portions, and top-notch service. Stop in and ask for Monica!

I've been here a few times and the food is consistently delicious. The wait can be a bit long in the mornings especially on the weekends but it is worth it if you decide to stick around. My aunt wanted to go here for her birthday and our wait ended up being around an hour and 20min on a Saturday around 10am. You also can't sit until the entire party is there. Our server was attentive despite the busy morning and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Parking can also be tricky but it looks like they're expanding their parking lot!

When I say I never had pancakes taste like this before I MEAN IT. I love iHOP but this has NOTHING on it. The pancakes tasted fresh and home made, the eggs were AMAZING like fresh eggs and everything was well made. The Orange Strawberry I could drink 17 of them SOOO GOOD! The service was great with getting the food in a decent time. The place feels like a country side home with groups big and small being catered too. It was such an amazing experience and I would go there again without a doubt.

All the Original Pancake Houses have impressed me, but this one feels very modern and cool inside. There's a good-sized parking lot and the employees are very friendly. The menu has a lot of options, and the pictures help sell some of their items, as it tempted me to get the California omelet. The server warned me it was like 4-5 eggs and baked so it would take some time, so oh man, was it a sizeable bundle of eggs and toppings. It's egg-filled and topped with avocado, bacon, tomato, and sour cream. It is enough to hold you over past lunch and then some. And it comes with an adorable tiny stack of pancakes which were not needed but much appreciated. The Dutch Baby is also a pretty special dish. It's pancake-like, but thin and bowl-shaped, but the powered sugar, butter, and a squeeze of lemon is all the topping you need (syrup would be too much.) The medium roast coffee is pretty robust, and the booths are spacious. It's more upscale than a diner, but it's still good dishes at reasonable prices.

This was actually the best pancakes I ever had! We came here after my 2 nieces graduation. They have a lot of parking in their area. We were reserved for seating but eventually they moved us to another area due to a bigger party. As we get in(my other family were eating), we get seated and immediately are greeted for drinks and appetizers. I decided to go with the Fresh Fruit Short-stack. This was absolutely delicious. I did not use any syrup, the whipping was placed perfectly over the fresh fruit which melted every slice i cut. The pancake was perfectly made. I didn't even use the strawberry purée. The fluffiness of the pancake set the tone and was completely satisfying. I also ordered the strawberry orange juice . As the restaurant was busy the waitress was a bit overwhelmed causing dissatisfaction towards the group. I would like to go back again with smaller group or just me. The ambiance was inviting and i loved the set up inside.

I went here again and it didn't disappoint me. Another bday, another brunch. Eden was great, she was attentive and friendly. The place is big, very crowded but comfortable. I ll be back soon . The food is great for a brunch.

If you want to try this spot, be prepared to wait for more than an hour especially on a weekend. But it's worth the wait. All their menu items and drinks are made freshly. I was impressed with their orange juice as they make fresh batches every morning and you can taste the pulp and freshness. All their jams, syrups and toppings are also made onsite. Our waitress, Marisa, was outstanding and walked us through our first experience at this location. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the mood for some authentic breakfast. I have to compliment whoever was on aux because the music was on point and made the space feel much more comfortable.

Had to shout out the service really quick. For both visits I had amazing waitresses. This past visit, our waitress gave us to go cups of the drinks we were drinking! I have never experienced that north of PA, and as someone who loves her beverages, this won a lot of points with me. The coconut pancakes are delicious and my mom's favorite. I am more of a savory lover and the ham and scram burrito really does it for me, I want to try other things on the menu but I enjoy this one so much!

Got seated very quickly for a Sunday morning! Our server was super friendly and attentive. The food was AMAZING! I would definitely suggest the toasted coconut pancakes- they were delicious! Definitely worth the wait, if there's one!

He also really enjoyed the seasonal Berry Cloud Fizz beverage. I ordered the chicken scoop that was absolutely delicious. 2 Crispy chicken breasts topped with yummy bacon jam all on top of a delicious Belgium waffle drizzled with maple mustard syrup. It was not drenched in syrup which was great, the perfect amount of sweet and salty. For our appetizers we ordered the cauli tempura with the sauce in the side as our server Mericis suggested after my concern over the spice level; and I'm glad she mentioned it because one dip into the sauce and it was not for me. She joyfully suggested other sauces (garlic mayo, aji verde & chimichurri) that were delicious but the garlic mayo was my fave. We also got the nori roll which is one of our fave apps here. The sauce drizzled on top really takes it to the next level. For drinks I ordered the seasonal dulce plantain pudding latte -- yum! Loved every bit of it, especially that it wasn't overly sweet. Our server, Mericis was great. Always attentive, patient as I tried to figure out what I wanted to try next after coming for my 3rd time, and overall great vibes. She made our experience an amazing one on top of the delicious food and drinks we had. Will definitely return! Also love they have printed menus now!

I'm vegetarian and don't eat eggs, so I ordered the Mexican Chilaquiles without egg. They were super helpful and substituted the egg with beans and mushrooms, which I really appreciated. A lot of places will just remove the egg, so it was nice that they actually replaced it with something. The chilaquiles were flavorful and filling. My husband got the Quesadilla Mex with veggies, and it was HUGE! It was thick and stuffed really well. He couldn't even finish it. It came with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and a small basket of fries. For the price, I think the portions here are really good. I also got the iced Coko Moko Latte with coconut syrup, chocolate, and a shot of espresso. Really liked this one! The coconut and chocolate went surprisingly well together with the coffee. The location is convenient too, close to downtown Metuchen and Whole Foods, and they have their own parking lot, which is always a plus around this area. Good food, good portions, friendly service, and a really nice brunch date overall. We'll definitely be back!

SO much more room to breathe. Maria's moved into the old Latin Port space at 87 Central Ave, and they've been in the new location for about two months now. You can actually walk in, have a seat, and not feel like you've accidentally walked into someone's living room. I popped in today for a quick latte to go and went with a hot Coko Loko (that's latte with coconut syrup and a lil' hint of choc). And just when I thought I was done, I got this little surprise at the end: fresh coconut flakes in the final sips. If you're a coconut person, you'll want to try this one!

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!
