Such a disappointing experience...I have eaten many times at the original and many different locations. Unfortunately, this location has to to be the worst ones I've ever been to. I ordered 5 chili burgers, 2 chili tamales, and 2 fries. Left and realized they didn't give me any fries. As I made it back, I get an employee that seemed upset I came back for my 10 dollars worth of fries. I even brought the box she packed for me. The other employee was going to make me a fresh batch, but she just grabbed what fries she had left from previous order, and put the fries in two little trays. Then I ask if she can put them in a bag so they wouldn't get cold, but instead she puts them in a box and slides me an empty bag to put them in the bag myself. Oh, I also asked if she needed my receipt and she didn't care to. Must happen often here. My burgers were completely smashed when I returned home don't know why. The Original Tommy's is in Los Angeles on Beverly and Rampart but if you don't to deal with L.A. traffic this is the location to go to. The chill cheese burger (single, double, or triple) is the burger to get. It comes with enough chili that you can make about half of your fries into chili cheese fries. I like to get it with grilled onions and no tomato or pickles. The burger from the burger soaks up the chili juices so it makes the bun taste amazing. There is plenty of parking and you always get your food in a timely manner. read more

Paid with a $50 got back the Wrong change. Mexican girl helped me out drive thru gave me back $31.25 from a $50 my order was $18.14 stole $0.61 cents from me need to teach them how to give correct change back to a paying customer & for food I ordered chili "Cheese" fries & they did not include cheese in which they charge for cheese. Youngster working the kitchen makes me think they hired just about anyone to fulfill the positions. read more

Okay. Tommy's is that place you go to when your either #1) need some greasy comfort food to ease your sorrows or #2) want that good 'ol nostalgic feel to creep back into your soul. For me, their burgers and chili cheese fries do a little bit of both. My dad use to take us kids here when we were still about 3ft tall and I must admit that Tommy's was one of my favorite burger joints. This exact location too! I've done some growing up since then and have expanded my love onto their chili tamale. It isn't even that great but there's just something about piling on their chili, onions, pickles, and a thick cut of tomatoe onto that sucker that gets me everytime. I can literally feel my arteries clog up. Anyway, I must note that the quality is slowly deteriorating. It can possibly be the transformation of the masses present day palate since each classic menu item being served isn't as fabulous and famous as they once were. read more

Tough to call this an original Tommy's. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 chili dog, fries, a drink to eat inside, and a chocolate shake. Received hot fries and chili dog, unfortunately that's where the hot food ended. Both burgers we're lukewarm on the inside, the whole point of choosing to go to Tommy's is to receive a fresh cooked burger to order. Tommy's management you need to audit this location on safe/sanitary cooking procedures. It's not like this place was busy, there were 0 cars in the drive through and 3-4 customers inside the whole time we were here. Never coming here again. Warning for anyone stick to Tommy's which are actually located in Los Angeles otherwise you will most likely get food poisoning and a horrible experience. read more

Walked in 2:10 pm on Sunday - waited 5 minutes to be greeted. "Crew leader" zero hello welcome - just looked at me!?!! Order number 3 . No drink served. Foods up still no drink asked for drink looks at me likes it my fault wth? Note: the patties were left out on top of counter top during the duration of my visit. See pic. I recently came to this Tommy's location with my mom and aunt to pick up dinner for our family. The service was quick, friendly and the restaurant was kept up well. The parking lot is small but ample enough for this location. The restaurant itself is in an alright area of Norwalk and easy to get to. We placed a large order featuring several special orders and when we received the food we were missing a hamburger. Always make sure you check your food to ensure you received everything, I have been bitten by this on far to many occasions to name. They clicked whipped up another burger and we were on our way. The food was good (as all Tommys are) but was not as hot as I had hoped once getting it home. The chili cheese fries are amazingly good and they are definitely not cheap with their chili as all of their food is drenched in it. This was a little greasier than other locations I have been to but overall they serve a good product. I still like Tommy's chili much better than Pinks (although I will have to give this another try). It's good to see another location I didn't know existed until now. I am sure I will be back here again for many meals to come. read more

a little bias here, since i learned to appreciate these back in my college days! nothing like a stick-to-your-stomach chili cheeseburger after a good long night of drinking! used to rationalize that it was to avoid the hangover, but that's probably just a weak excuse to come here for some nice artery clogging burgers! make sure to get an order of fries too! i normally get them plain, as to avoid chili overload, but either way is good. can't do these all the time, but every once i awhile, have to fill that craving! they do run specials every so often, so make sure to sign up for e-mails or their app so you know ahead of time! read more

This place has something the best chili hands down. And they have been cranking out great chili for decades. Normally when I go I order a burger, or chili dog and some fries and then I order some take-home chili. Their burgers are a throwback to the old drive up hamburger stands you remember when you were a kid. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes good hamburger meat with toasted bun and crispy french fries. Their chili dogs are great. The hot dogs have a good bite to them and the buns are always warm and the chili just takes it over the top. The only bad thing I have to say is that I don't know what they put in that chili. But nonetheless I take the chili home and I'm putting that chili on practically everything. Oh my goodness what a wonderful wonderful chili. You will always get good food here at this location at a reasonable price. They are consistent in their product asked they continue to deliver good-quality food every time I go there. read more

Worst experience ever. Reason I write this review is because staff treated me like I was a delivery service. I actually was ordering take out. I believe staff misunderstood my ethnicity. They were speaking in their native language which I understood. I was sort of upset at the fact that I overheard assumptions of my nationality. I speak fluently and understood their conversations. I feel like they need to understand that all transactions need to be professional and respectful no matter the circumstances. read more

I love this Tommy's because it is oh so conveniently located on my way home from work! Easy and efficient drive through - they always get my order right. Chili cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and X-Large iced tea with lemon and then of course, whatever Tom wants. I never realized that they don't take credit cards - only cash and ATM, until the night my ATM card didn't work and I had NO CASH! Tres embarrassment! (and PS - I hate Wells Fargo for cancelling my old ATM card before I activated my new one - piss off!) But lesson learned, I will always carry cash with me in case of Tommy's emergency!! read more

This location was sold to new owners and they have fired all of the original employees who were loyal and often worked double shifts. I used to love getting food from this place but after hearing this news I will never go again. Firing the staff with no notice especially with the current economy where everything is so expensive is just terrible. read more

Just as good as I remember it as a child. Of course I can't have this as often as I did back then because my stupid metabolism decided to go on vacation years ago so about once a month is all I get. My go to is the double with everything. The way they make their chili is completely different than anyone else but it's something about it that goes great on a burger or on some fries. Don't get chili with the fries and pay extra. Just eat your burger over your fries and soon enough, you will have chili fries as well! read more

Really good old-school burgers, but REALLY good old-school chili. Wow, this is a blast from the past. Are you worried about cholesterol?, hope not. Surprised by the dogs too, I had to try them. No nonsense service at the ordering station. This is review is for service. We ordered food and asked for 1 plain burger 1 burger no tomato and both drinks no ice and orange crush. We got our order left then when we got home we realized our whole order was wrong both drinks had ice and coke burgers had everything when we ordered plain for my little one. Food was great tasted amazing but too many things were wrong in our order to assume its human error. Would go back but will make sure to check order before we take off. read more

And I felt like I was getting more bread than the actually patty and what was inside the burger. I felt like I could have used more sauce to soften up the dry texture I get from the bed. But overall it was good. This place is located inside the Steelcraft so it has a nice, chill ambiance. The place can get busy, especially when they are showing games. But a nice place to hang out and chill over some food and drinks.

The chicken sandwich tasted so high-quaity in comparasion to most fast food sandwiches I've ever had and priced so affordably. The entire resturant and the restroom were impicaly clean, the defintion of "sparkling clean".
