I have had service for 6 months and was happy with this service. Unfortunately, the last two months of service has been disappointing. This month we waited for 3 hours and a no show. I called and was told that the had a district meeting in the morning and running late but no one called to let me know. So sat around for 3 hours waiting. Last month, had to have them come twice as the first guy stated 5 minutes as it was raining and only did the outside "quickly". Do not recommend! read more

0 STARS NOT 1! Do you want unreliable service? Do you want damage to your property that your left to fix and deal with? Do you want to make 10 phone calls and leave multiple voicemail's just to never receive a call back? Then look no further because Orkin pest control is the place for you! I had a sentricon system installed around my house to keep termites away. Which I paid $1200 to have installed only to have to wait 6 months for the job to be completed. The excuse was that all there hammer drills were broken to be able to get through the concrete and they were waiting for them to be repaired. You would think a company that talks as highly about there selves as Orkin does would have the tools to complete the job! Then to get a pleasant surprise of water in my basement after determining that when installing the Sentricon system they drilled through a drain pipe in the ground. Which is understandable if you couldn't see the pipe out of the ground 2ft beside of it.. $50 dollars and an hour later the problem was solved with no reimbursement offered. Now on to the pest control part of the contract which I pay $65 a month, only to have someone pull in the driveway 3 of the first 4 months an not spray a thing. (Yes I have cameras). I called about that and the only thing mentioned was that they have GPS trackers on the truck and it appeared to have been at my address. They didn't offer to reimburse me to make it right. I dealt with Andrew Dale at the Bowling Green, Ky location he has a good speech but that's about all he doesn't back up what he says and he simply cannot follow any directions. I called yesterday to cancel the contract and have them re install the Sentricon bait station that was installed through the gutter system. I strictly told him (Andrew Dale) to have the tech call me before he got there only to never receive a phone call and catch him on my camera system fixing to reinstall the bait station. i wish I had read the reviews before deciding to go with orkin! I book my service through the bowling green, KY location had a tech to come to treat my house. i will say he spoke well while here however when I reviewed my cameras inside my home. i immediately saw that the tech did not perform the service instead he was on his phone the entire time. yes, I have a camera inside every room in my house except bathrooms because of the amount of kids I have inside my home. I've made several phone calls been told I would receive a call back been escalated to corporate with a promise of a call back. yet, no call back. they were quick to take payment for a service but will not return customer calls when service isn't done with proof from the recorded session! I'm still out 1200$ and still haven't received a call back! do not go with orkin!!! read more

Andrew representative from Orkin came. At the time, I was quoted $149.99 to spray the inside of the house. My husband had just had a liver transplant and was in the hospital. Andrew spoke to my husband, and he said, "Do not do anything yet." Andrew said we need to change this deal. Your property is big , and we need to spray the trees and grass on all 11 acres. He said your dogs will big the ticks. I said it was supposed to rain, will it wash away, Andrew said, "Oh! No, it will not wash away. The AC in the basement is molded and needs to put a humidifier in there. I was stressing out. Andrew said to make Brian safe, he gave me the bill of $6,200. Contacted Orkin for a first-time service call. Was contacted by a technician named Jeff. Scheduled first appoint. The day and time of appointment came. After waiting for over an hour past, I called the technician back and was told he got "sent home" about a "personal matter" and my appointment had been forgotten. Fine. It happens. I rescheduled with him the following week. The day and time of the rescheduled appointment came. After waiting an hour past I again attempted to contact the technician to see if he was running late. I called several times, but got no answer. Therefore I simply contacted another pest control company instead. Nothing personal. Just business. The day following the second missed appointment I get a call from someone at Orkin called Andrew who starts asking me if I'd like to schedule another appointment. I told him about the circumstances of the two missed appointments with Jeff. He told me Jeff was no longer with the company. I told him I had elected to go with one of their competitors, to which Andrew replied in a rather passively snobbish tone, "We have no competitors. We are in a class by ourselves." To which I attempted to reply, "I guess that's why your technician never showed up." I say attempted because by the time I got to the word "never," Andrew promptly hung up on me. This is inevitably what prompted me to leave a review at all. Otherwise I would've just went to a "rival pest control service" and dropped the issue. Sounds like Orkin company either has a highly inflated ego or maybe Orkin corporate needs to put their Bowling Green, KY branch under the microscope.
