A fantastic spot. Me and my husband try to get down here for one to two months during the winter season . I'm here for the quiet!! A beautiful gem on the Ormond ocean front. The condos are spacious, comfortable and equipped for longer stays. The vibe is so much more peaceful and intimate than staying at a Daytona hotel. We've stayed at similar places nearby when we can't get in here but nothing compares to the tranquility of this well maintained smaller complex. We stayed here over five years ago for the first time with family during the summer season and didn't care for the tons of kids in the pool, tents everywhere, loud radios on the beach and general noise throughout the day and night; but from the last couple reviews it sounds like the management may not be letting kids wreak havoc anymore which I personally appreciate. I'm a big fan of staying in the winter with (mostly) older folks who are also quietly appreciating the sound of the waves and the wind in the trees!! If you're respectful and considerate of others I can't see how you'd have a bad time at this wonderful place. read more

It makes me so sad to read the negative reviews on this site. My family too has been going for over 50 years. I'd agree the management at the time of their stay was not good. They were rude and aggressive. Prices went up and services went down. There were lots of complaints, so the owners had to make a change... to the management and they were let go. This place sits on a beautiful lot. Yes some of the condo's are a little out dated, but the views and courtyard, in my opinion, make up for it. In an area where you can stay on a 12th floor condo, with a wrist band to get to the pool and back into your elevator to lug a cart up multiple floors, I think this two (three) level condo is refreshing. The area is close enough to Daytona to enjoy that part of town if you like that sort of thing. But far enough away to say you're not in Daytona, but nestled right next door to milion dollar homes you see on HGTV. I do hope that one day the new managers can right the wrongs of the old managers. read more

The new property manager is rude, hateful and prejudice DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! I am deeply disappointed in having to write this review. My family and I have been coming to this condo complex for as long as I can remember with few issues and no complaints. The couple who now manage this property are extremely rude, unprofessional, lairs, out of line with guests children and most importantly discriminatory based on religious beliefs. The manager and her husband verbally assaulted (with vulgarity) multiple members of my family. They harassed a number of underaged youths who were members of paying guests at the complex. They even went so far as to demand that a guardian of a baby remove the child from his/her floating device because "floats are not allowed in the pool". We were lied to when we were told that the owners had voted to no longer rent to my family. We were held responsible for rules being broken by people not even apart of my family. More than once verbally and a few times via email the property manager has made derogatory and prejudicial comments against our religious beliefs. This type of behavior has zero place in America. I can only wonder who else has had these kinds of run ins with this couple. I have never in my life been treated so poorly. For decades we have returned with our business to this condo, even though all the condos are massively outdated, most have poor water pressure and some have none at all. We have gone above and beyond in complying with the exit requirements with regard to leaving each condo cleaner than how we found it. Some of us have even bought and left beach gear when their condo had damaged or missing items. We did all of this happily because we loved this spot. In the span of less than two weeks these unpleasant, angry, hateful managers have ruined 5 decades worth of memories, traditions, laughter and tear, all for nothing. Please don't waste your time, money or memories on this place while Seaside Dreams Reality manages this property. You will find much better options cheaper, with more amenities and far more pleasant staff within walking distance of this condo complex; not to mention the surrounding area. If I could rate this property lower I would!!!! read more

Our group has been going to this condominium complex for the past 48 years with no problems. The video that you see on their web page and Facebook page is all pictures of our group. The vast majority of the reviews you see are done by members of our group. This summer all of that changed. They have new management and the environment is completely different. They are rude, unprofessional, (they cussed out, without provocation, members of our group) and generally possess a very negative attitude. They wrote a letter soliciting the members OK for them not to allow us to come back. It contained misleading and outright fallacious information. Please understand that for 48 years we had a positive experience here with many great memories. However due to the change in administration we will not be returning and I would advise you to search for a different vacation experience. If a lower rating was available I would select it. This is already a lengthy review and so I won't add the numerous other examples of how terrible this place has become. Save your money and your sanity, don't go here! read more

I have enjoyed at least a week at Ormond Holiday Club since it was built in 1967. Unlike New Smyrna Beach or Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach is a quite, hidden gem on the East Coast of Florida. The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath units are roomy, have fully equipped kitchens, living area, dining space and either a large balcony or ground floor patio. The grounds are beautiful and all but 2 units have a view of the ocean. I have owed a unit for over 20 years but frequently stay in other units when I have extended family visiting. Check out the website to view the interiors and each of the rooms. The most recent negative reviews are from participants of a "church" group that has been renting for years but this is now the 3rd generation and this year they were very disrespectful to the Managers and mistreated the common grounds and the individual units daily. As an owner, I have no desire to rent to individuals who choose not to treat my property as their own. This oasis has been loved and appreciated by many and we will all continue to return to OHC for the gatherings around the pool, on the seawall and or the white, sandy beach.
