Their online portal is probably one of the best things about them. You can see exactly how they are displaying your vision. You can see all the different kinds of florals they are thinking about for your event, and they break everything down by floral type. For example, there are different categories for ceremony, arch, centerpieces, bridal, bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, etc., etc. Within each category they break down the florals you would want, the color scheme, the shape. I mean, they really do pay attention to your vision and exactly what you want. They are the only company that did this for me. I was BLOWN AWAY. Leading up to the wedding we had a courtesy sample appointment to view our tables and florals and the overall design. This was absolutely amazing. We worked with them on candles, floral positions, different little trinkets, and overall design for the tables. We were able to really see our vision come to life, and I really appreciated that. We also went over our entire proposal category by category to really make sure there wasn't anything missing or anything that needed to be changed. The overall experience was phenomenal. My husband and I left there with complete confidence in Gisela and Joe. Absolutely no nervousness whatsoever, and that's exactly what you would want from your florist, from any vendor really. The day of the wedding we were just blown away. They really went above and beyond with the florals on the day of the wedding. We would not stop getting compliments! From the bouquet, to the boutonnieres, to our arch, everything was just perfect. They used all of the extras they had and added them throughout the reception for an extra beautiful touch. I am truly speechless every time I look back at our pictures and see how beautiful everything turned out! It is an understatement to say we were lucky with JM Event Productions. Working with them was one of the best experiences we had throughout our entire wedding process, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a florist or for anything else on your wedding day. From our first meeting, you were able to capture the essence of their dream and were able to deal with everyone's personalities. As an interior designer, I am very critical of details. From the Birch Tree and floral Chupah to the white ceremony runner sprinkled with XOXO rose petals, to the floral fountain entry, to the Gobo draped ballroom, (reflecting an enchanted forest design) guests were transformed to another place. One would have never known we were celebrating our daughter's wedding in a ballroom. The soft purple lighting exuded a zen-like mood, which was intimate and inviting. The marriage of lavender and white Hydrangeas, Vendela Roses, and Majolica Spray Roses were breathtaking, layered amongst the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Italian Ruscus. The Manzanita floral trees were well edited with floral placements that did not obstruct anyone's view. They were even more spectacular than you described. The focal point of the room was the monogramed dance floor, surrounded by Royal tables flanked with orchid, rose and hydrangea bridge centerpieces that gave the illusion they were suspended from above. Most importantly, you all were a pleasure to work with. No change was too much trouble and your calm demeanors enabled us to feel like we were in good hands. The company ended up providing DJ/MC and decor services for my son's Bar Mitzvah at a reasonable price. I was very impressed with Jeff's commitment to service. Deadlines were always met. Jeff even once went out of his way to come down to my area so he could meet with me and my son. We loved the decor. The MC, Spyder, was very good, although I think he could have done a little better job entertaining the kids. I was very pleased with Motiv8's services in 2016. Fast forward a few months later.....We are getting ready for Bar Mitzvah number two. I had no doubt that I was going to call Motiv8 for a second round. They had earned my business. Jeff told me all the "Mitzvahs" were being run by Laurie Caradonna. I met with Laurie once and I believe she sent me a contract. Before I signed I needed to make sure Motiv8 could do my decor. They now did not know if they could do a decor job for less than $5000! Sharon and the Decor depart were a disaster with follow up and made me feel like the most unimportant customer in the world. It took forever for Sharon to return my calls and when she did finally got back to me with something, it was stuff I could have looked up myself on Pinterest. After an acceptable design was submitted, we went back and forth on several items on the contact. Sharon never returned my calls. It was one excuse after the other. First it was Hurricane Irma, then Halloween. Every other event was more important than mine. I could not even get Laurie or a Sharon's assistant to return my calls. I finally called Jeff, explained what was going on. After he told me about how busy they were with other events (!), he did say he would make sure Sharon and Laurie would get back to me. It was probably a month before Sharon got back to me and by that time I had moved on to another event company. I certainly did not feel like a priority while working with Motiv8 this time. Obviously, Motiv8 was not interested in doing my event. Their website states, "No event is too large or too small". Unfortunately, I found this to be the case last year but not this year. And what a shame as they did such a nice job last year!
