It is not too far from Manufactura or Piotrkowska street and there are stops for the tram right outside. The restaurant has been good as well for breakfast and dinner and the servers have been great. The not-so-good: The location of the hotel isn't in the nicest area and the tram/traffic is noisy so we can't really keep our windows open because then it's a lot worse. Also, there was a party downstairs until about 3am, when the party guests were going back to the rooms, two guests (very drunk) walked back and forth on our floor screaming, "YOLO!!" at the top of his lungs over and over and nobody asked him to stop.

Natural light beaming through the 10.000 triangle ceiling panels, massive open space makes the train station feel grandiose. It boldly claims it's place in the historic city of Łódź (pronounced: Woodge) as a sign of things to come. The giant roof in the form of an arched canopy makes you forget this is indeed a station, and not say, an airport. It's just so imposing on the space it surrounds. Even if you didn't arrive via this train station, I'd recommend paying a visit. Heck, if you're in Warsaw for a few days, hope on the train (PKP Intercity preferably) and pay Łódź a visit in just a little over an hour. As far as amenities, it covers all the grounds: a fair amount of ticket booths but hardly any shops. Apparently, there's some controversy going on in regards to how PKP (Polish Railroads) is failing at filling up the vacancies. It only had 5 years to prep for this moment (chuckle).

Also, there's a tram stop just in front of the hotel. I paid 128 Zloty = 26£ per night excluding breakfast. I upgraded to including breakfast which raised the daily price by a pound and a half (!), a well worth investment as the breakfast buffet was really good. The rooms are very simple, with a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and two chairs, and a small tv. The rooms have an en-suite shower and toilet, very clean. That's really all one needs, I think. Oh, and there's wifi with a decent speed. And the service is very friendly indeed. The hotel has a very old lift, all brass, from the 1920s, I would estimate - operated by a lift man. Very interesting.

They have only been open a few weeks and will only continue to add to the amazing thing they are creating. The design is sleek and modern. The rooms are warm and inviting. Modern features to make your stay so welcoming. The staff is a gem and eager to help in any way they can. And the restaurant! From breakfast, to lunch, to dinner, knocks every dish out of the park. I would argue this is the best restaurant in Łódź. Amazing bar, solid wine selection! Anyway if you find yourself in Łódź, get your butt here!
