I love what they are doing with the program to get more people eating whole, fresh foods. If you are on food stamps (SNAP) and are willing to make a small effort, one can come near to doubling your benefits. Basically every $20 spent on a daily basis for foods other than fresh produce will result in a $20 coupon for fresh produce. The key is to shop and keep you purchases as close to $20 as possible. Most cell phones include a calculator. I make of list of what I need, I check sales ads to see if anything I need is at a sale price and make my purchase, then I keep my fresh produce separate (note: packaged salads that contain cheese, nuts, dressing does not count as fresh produce) but go for all other fresh produce. And if you don't see it out, don't hesitate to ask for assistance; they get new deliveries all the time. Love the people, love having a store that offers fresh deli, local bakery, and fresh beef and dairy. And the produce is the cherry on the top of the cake! I was thrilled when I saw three children picking out what they wanted and calculating price per pound for their favorite items.

Not only is the Chicken fried steak as good or better than any in the state but it's served by Copans most beautiful wait staff that are as friendly as they are pretty. Don't order a full order of Onion rings unless there is a table full of friends or you may bust your gut trying to eat those delicious rings by yourself! Get a half order and share them with your dinner partner. Large portions! Great food, service, and prices! Only downside....no phone service for most carriers and no WIFI!

It's much cleaner than Wal-Mart and the selection is superior. They even have an assortment of organic and international products. We went in with a set budget, and she tried to get us to spend well beyond that. She also suggested that we were unintelligent for not knowing about the ins and outs of parasite cleanses, and even went as far as to ask if we had internet access where we're at (which, yes we do, or else I wouldn't be able to leave this review), only to give the flimsy excuse that she thought we lived off the grid when I questioned her. EXTREMELY unprofessional, and it left me wondering why we even bothered to come into the store at all. For $4.50 we each got a take-out container of three "street" tacos, one chicken, one beef, and one pork, all sprinkled with fresh cilantro. The beef (chopped in very small bits) was my favorite. Each taco was wrapped in two corn tortillas. Two salsas were included, a red one and a green one. The red was HOT. Loved the green sauce though. Other garnishes included a giant grilled pepper (mild) and lime wedges. I will definitely make another road trip here when tacos are needed to make it through a work Friday!
