I chose to eat inside as it was pretty hot inside. Service was very fast as I was the only one there. They are known for their sushi boxes so I decided to browse through the menu looking through many of them. Some had special where you could add on a drink for €1. I noticed most of the boxes were with salmon or tuna and since I am a huge fan of salmon I decided to get the "super salmon box." It came out within a few minutes and although had lots of salmon in each roll the creativity of the rolls was great. I also accompanied my rolls with a Japanese Soda that tastes similar to sprite. Overall would definitely come back and try more things on the menu.

Now, to be honest, it was my first full day back in Spain and the rest of my brain was trying desperately to catch up to the clock, and we arrived at the restaurant as they opened for lunch (around 1:00, which is ridiculously early for Spanish lunchtime). The menu is varied and there are lots of little options for personalizing your meal. This place was recommended to me by a Japanese friend. It´s a sister restaurant of Tastem, which is apparently the best Japanese in Valencia, but also expensive... Sushi and tapas has a great menu of the day which is very affordable just 12 euro + tax including a starter, main and dessert and a drink. We had the tuna and salmon tartar and the eggplant salmon salad (delicious). Then we had the sushi variation and maki variation. As a dessert we had the sesame panna cota, lovely it tasted just like the more traditional sesame ice-cream but even better!
