Made an appointment because I heard they get busy. Gives luxury and care when you walk in. Enjoyed the variety of music as well. The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and she did a great job. Since I had an appointment for both a fill and pedicure, I expected both to be done at the same time. This is how it's usually done and I saw them doing the same for others. Others walked in and were getting their nails done and I was just waiting - with an appointment. Now these people came in AFTER me. I did say something - politely - to inquire when someone was going to start on my nails. I had already been here for an hour. They were running behind, which I understood and I'm working o my patience. Erik started on my nails and he did a great job. He was great and made sure I was happy with everything from the shape to the color.

I used to go to Oscar for years and would generally get good service, but it started declining a few years ago or so and I stopped getting my nails done all together. I was sick of the disappointment after spending $80 plus on a pedicure and coming out with rough heels and patchy gel polish and spending $60 plus for dip and my nails coming out lumpy and wavy. Well today after not having my nails done at all, anywhere for a year or so, I decided to pop in and give them another try... mistake! The nail tech rushed like a mad woman, she started my service as she handed me the bucket of colors to look at, sliced up my fingers with not only the drill, but the file during the shaping, she kept twisting my thumbs backwards to file the nail and it was hurting (I have arthritis in my thumbs) and they don't bend that way!!! I'd asked for a manicure with my service and all she did was trim my cuticles... nothing else. Then the final result was wavy, uneven, lumpy, sloppy looking, patchy dip powder nails with sliced up fingers around my nail bed. I'm going to another salon tomorrow to see if they can smooth them out to make them look like a professional actually did them. Unfortunately, I do not recommend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I gave two stars because the front desk lady was nice, but I should be able to except nice and good service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I got my wedding nails done at another salon and they were absolutely atrocious. I came here to Oscar Nail Lounge and everyone here was so accommodating, nice and helpful. Danny did my nails and he did an amazing job!! My nails looked even better than the photo I gave him for inspiration. If you're getting your nails done for a special occasion or just even for ur regular appointment you NEED to come here!!

This is my favorite salon since I've been in Dallas. When I tell you, Nikki is sooooo consistent and amazing! She never lets me down. My nails last at least a month without breaking or lifting. They also have a full bar for your enjoyment you will not be disappointed.

This place is awesome! I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Mae and my pedicure from Lyly. They were both extremely courteous and friendly oh and efficient. While you're getting your pedicure, you can get your nails done at the same time!! The atmosphere is calm and I truly enjoyed my services. UNPROFESSIONAL. INCONSIDERATE. RACIAL SLURS SCREENSHOTS BELOW I have been going to Maria/Teresea for awhile. Talented nail tech but extremely unprofessional. Cancels the appointments when you are already at the shop , never is prepared even when you send the sets previously before and completely does not care about her clients time. Just some tips - Maybe your clients shouldn't follow your personal page if you plan to be so inconsistent. Please for the love of God refrain from the cursing and using racial slurs around people of actual African descent. It wasn't the hard r it was with an s MULTIPLE times. That's who you employ Oscar Nail. After dealing with her being a serial shop jumper and being home based. Meaning you can schedule an appointment while she's at home and within the same week have to reschedule with a shop which is super inconvenient but this was the last straw. I text Maria for an appointment she books it. I follow up with her to let her know hey I have other appointments if that won't work I can come at 3 or 4 pm. I actually care about TIME and giving whoever is servicing me enough of it ! She responds I booked it for 3. That means 3pm right since she quote responded to I can come at 3pm or 4pm. Just to wait the day before to tell me she meant as in booked the appointment for 3 hours not that she actually rebooked it. Miscommunication right ? Okay well can I just change it she tells me she doesn't have time "for all the mind changing". You are the one always running 30 mins to an HOUR behind... the audacity ! I am always on time and I always send her screenshots of the sets I would like DAYS if not WEEKS in advance. So she can look at them tell me if she has the supplies or can even execute them. Do you think that's ever done. How many times have I made an appt and when I get there she doesn't have the tips ? I get the same shape and tips every time. How many times do I get there when she has my Instagram phone number etc and she doesn't have the color and tools to even do it ? I've even gone so far as to send nail tutorials for one set. Do you think she bothered to have the supplies when I got there to do it ? No !! That was of course after rescheduling me after I got there because she didn't have the tips. The only tool she needed was a paper clip that I gave her and she lost. Couldn't manage it. But then express frustration about freestyling. I don't want to be here either. I've literally been sitting outside the shop 30 - 45 minutes before my appointment and get cancelled when she's had every opportunity to tell me all day she wasn't working. I've never left a bad review but today the attitude was disgusting and uncalled for. If she wasn't so nasty I wouldn't have left one because she seems to have an issue with staying in one place permanently per her previous salon(S) for attendance. Shocker right ? The reason for the scheduling issues. Which I would prefer you just be honest and say you have something to do then squandering clients time so I could book elsewhere or with someone that wants to work. We dont have to spend money with people who can't be professional and respect our time just as they request. Like I said screenshots below. No reason to lie.

I requested a costume design set. The vibe was Valentine's Day and the quality is just right. Not to thick or thin.

Jen and Helen did an amazing job! This place is busy, I came at 10:45 on a Friday morning there wasn't a wait but they had most chairs filled. They know what they're doing, the hosts were friendly and although it's a little pricier than others I would say it's right in the middle. I got a full set with gel on my nails & toes it was $150. My nails are straight and look great. Helen took her time with my pedicure and my feet looks great!

BEWARE!! I have been to this salon many times and it's always been a great experience, until now. I like Oscar's because it feels like you're getting the royal treatment and it's very clean and new. At our most recent visit I treated my daughters to manicures with dipped nails. We did this right before a family vacation. My older daughters nail beds were filed down so thin she was in agonizing pain for three days. She finally took them off during our vacation they hurt so badly. Because we were out of town twice in a row by the time I called to see if they could do anything I was told if I had called the NEXT DAY they would have offered to "fix the issue." They we're unwilling to offer a refund or a discount against a future visit. There is no way to fix nail beds that have been filed down to paper thin. They have to grow back first. We spent $105 plus a $20 tip just for her nails. Complete waste of money. I gave them a chance to make it right, but no. read more

Paid for a full set and pedicure. The pedicure was fine but the full set experience was awful. Nail tech cut me twice due to rushing and not paying attention. In addition, my nails are uneven and the ends of them are not painted. The price was also ridiculously high for the quality. Do NOT recommend at all. read more

I got cut so bad during my pedicure with Mary. The receptionist gave me $20 off but I had already paid so it took out two transactions. One for $173.20 then the second charge of $153. So a total of $326 and I'm in so much pain and I feel that Mary didn't understand how bad it was. She kept applying liquid bandaid which hurt even more and alcohol even though she knew how bad she cut me. Eva was very nice and tried to fix my manicure multiple times. waited over an hour for eyebrows and still end up not getting them done when the lady told me it would be 5 minutes!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The nice young girl in the front was kind enough after 30 minutes of waiting and realizing I was sitting there to ask if I needed any refreshments.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I sat Over a hour with a sleeping baby in my hands and didn not get acknowledgment! I got my nails done by Mr T on July 21st ($85). First off I liked that he was old school, a great conversationalist, gentle with my hands and his work was beautiful. On the 29th (1 day outside of their policy) my thumb nail lifted, Sunday the pinky, Monday I called to make another appointment to have them fixed, then over the course of 2 more days 3 more lifted :(. I went in yesterday August 2nd and they told me they can't repair them and that I need a new set which the chick at the front desk said it would be $90. Literally $5 more to get the EXACT SAME SET AS I HAD BEFORE. PLEASE TELL ME HOW IT WENT UP $5 IN ALMOST 2 WEEKS?!? Btw, I was expecting to pay no more than $40 for their poor work, because this is supposed to be the "BEST" place in town I told them I need some kind of discount. Again the chick at the front said she could only do 10% off. Pathetic right? So the nail tech they sat me with did a decent job but he was extremely aggressive with my fingers, there was absolutely no padding for my elbows so they hurt by the end, the tops of my nails are bumpy and he kept VAPING. On top of that he thought the color NUDE is the same throughout all skin tones, so he started with a nude for a Caucasian person (pinkish) so he seemed irritated that he had to take it off and get me a nude for a BROWN woman. Anyway, I still had my receipt from when the previous set was $85 and they took $7 measly a$$ dollars off that price and I tipped $3 which I wasn't going to leave anything. Side note, my first time here last year i got the same EXACT set as my coworker and they charged me $20 more than hers!!! So I don't know if it's a color thing (which nail shops like this usually are) or they pull their prices out of their a$$es but I felt discriminated against. read more

I've come here on several occasions even brought people visiting out of town. Service: 4 stars Quality: 4 stars Cleanliness: 5 stars Staff: friendly Ambiance: 3, sometimes I want to relax while getting nails done after a long day at work and not be in a "loud club". Music and drinks=club not relaxing, but again sometimes it's fun. I don't mind the occasional "club" atmosphere. I keep coming because the location is so convenient for me and they do good work. Guess it's up to what mood you are in. So if you don't mind loud club music, this is the place to be. read more

It's unfortunate that I gave them the time and the opportunity to correct what happened to me, and I was ignored. Shameful business model. My friend and I are loyal, every 2 weeks, it's our girls date. I book the same appointment same time and same day and I always send a picture at the time of booking and specifically ask for an artist that can do this. On average I spend $150 plus 30-40% tip usually each time I go. I'm not saying this for kudos, I worked in the service beauty industry & I value their time and believe in taking care of the ones who care for you. This is the second time in a row where I have been put with artists that do whatever they want and don't listen to you. My last pedicure I specifically asked for a milk and honey pedi priced at $75. Having researched it and having had this previously, when the pedicurist came out with a limited citrus pedicure tray, I politely asked and shared that the one I had told her with her repeated confirmation, was a milk and honey. She denied my request for toe art. They also placed me right by the break room where someone had been smoking outside with the back door open. Appalling. I thought you know what maybe she's tired and had a long day or whatever. Let it go as a one off. No complaints. I was chillin. My visit tonight- Again- I have been here consistently every two weeks with a friend. Shared with them our thread. When I came in I shared a picture of what I wanted as I normally do and the girls consulted with me and we agreed on the direction we were going to go. However during the manicure (and I take accountability for trusting her when I should not have) the manicurist did what she felt was easy and right with no regards to the photo I shared. She attempted to do the art which was small, without much patience and a lot of annoyance when I was getting my shoulder massage which I was paying for. I kindly said, it's okay, I'm not into this style of art, thank you for your time. My 25m leg massage as described in their Jingle pedicure was also cut short by the manicurist who again had a tone and body language of hasty anger towards the pedicurist. The manicurist was rude and bossy to the pedicurist. AFTER I almost caught fire from a cotton soaked in acetone caught fire quickly in the pedicure tray at my feet from the candle for the pedicure. I paid $119 tonight full price and I declined them trying to give me a discount. I don't want to take money away from anyone. . I'm not satisfied what so ever. I normally tip between 35-40% but I could not bring myself to pay extra for their time for something I didn't approve of or like. Extremely disappointed in how this salon offers customer service and correcting it for the customer. Lastly I was cornered by 2 associates and the manicurist as I was trying to leave and pay. I had expressed, I was not satisfied but that I would like to share my dissatisfaction privately, and would address it in a message privately. I then proceeded to my car and immediately message them during their open hours. I did just that and I was left on read and no response. read more

This place was so bomb First two times they gave me exactly what i wanted And now I had a new set and not even 2 days later 2 nails came off ok no problem had them fixed and was not charged ... and now 2 more new nails are Also coming off guess I had a bad Nail tech last time I'm just going to soak off all nails at this point. I normally use Vinny when I come here because he does good polish and his massages were great. There was a miscommunication with the front desk when I called to book with him. I am obsessed with this place! Found them on Instagram and decided to finally check them out and so happy I did. I got Sugs and holy cow she is incredible! Matched my nails exactly how the inspo pic looked, honestly even better than the inspo. My pedicure was so good and so relaxing, I forget my nail techs name but she was extremely nice and did an amazing job. Would highly highly recommend this place, especially requesting Sugs for custom nails. read more

This place is new to the neighborhood and wanted to give them a try because they are so close to home! I must say, I'm very glad I came in! I called for an appointment and they were able to get me right in. The ambience is the place is very inviting and luxurious and relaxing. Dave took care of me and I have to say, one of the best pedicures I've ever had!!! Hands down!!! Everyone who've worked there was so great, checking in to see how everything was going, and they've got a bar! Who doesn't love a mimosa with a pedicure! My son was with me as well (9years old) and usually he's with me but gets bored easily! I've been here at least 10 times and the prices are not consistent at all. The tech basically makes up whatever price they want. I go to Plano Nail Bar for acrylic toes and called from there for their pink and white price because I'm picky about my shaping. I specified I want "short short French" with pink and white powder, not dip...I was told $45and up but charged $85 for this short pink and white set. They said the guy that quoted was new. I previously paid $75 for long coffin 2 color ombré. I provided my own square tips so I wouldn't have to file them square at home which I still had to do. There are many techs that do great nails with consistent prices. Won't return. read more

I've been going to Oscar Nail on and off for a little while now and this is the first time that i was truly annoyed when I left. When the tech started shaping my nails I didn't like it so he took them off and started over. From that point on he just tried to rush through my nails and didn't care about how they looked. The ombré doesn't look good and the nails are wide at the base because he didn't shape them at the cuticles like they usually do. This isn't a cheap nail salon at all and i would expect to be more satisfied EVERY time I get my nails done. read more

I am very picky when it comes to where I go to get my nails done. After being loyal to a previous nail salon for many years..I had to look for a new place due the nail tech always cutting my cuticles and bein! I stumbled across this place on Instagram and was very impressed by the quality of the work. This place is definitely more pricier than the salon I went to previously but the quality is great. Finding the perfect nail tech is like finding a diamond in a pile of a million rocks. To find a nice nail salon... don't even get me started. I've spent YEARS trying to find the perfect place. I e been in Dallas for 10 years. I've gone to so many different places. At Oscar Nail Lounge, they actually care about you. My three favorite people are Vivian, TJ, and Benson. Vivian & TJ murders my nails every time. Benson does a great job at making sure my toes are evenly cut and that the pressure point is always good. How can you go wrong with an open bar of free drinks! The decor of this place is super cute, open & friendly. Can't wait to come back like always. I have been looking for a place up north to get my nails done. This place was talented based on their pictures, and I decided to take my daughter with me. I voiced many times I'm looking for a permanent place, because my nail salon is in Arlington and it is too far of a drive. Everything went well, I was content with my nails and their look. Especially I was happy with the awesome Halloween nail designs my daughter received. The pricing is high but it was worth it based on results... but here is where it went down hill for me. A comment was made about school districts that are good vs bad, and that the Dallas district was bad; which I totally agreed. The problem was when a soft spoken statement came out of my nail technicians mouth... Dallas districts is bad... because there are too many blacks... I had to contain my fury, as this was a racist, ignorant and disrespectful thing to say. First, I'm Hispanic and my significant other is "black". The baby I am carrying inside is part "black" and this was extremely insulting. It hurt me to know my child will deal with remarks like this growing up, as many African Americans do. It hurt me to know that people could be extremely careless and bias in their way of thinking. It is extremely unprofessional to make statements like this because you are comfortable to say them to a Hispanic assuming they will not mind. I had to take a deep breath to contain myself. I feel that and ignorant will remain an ignorant as it should be. It is sad, that this business was represented in this matter. It's unfortunate for the owner, because I will take my business elsewhere and I will inform future clients to go elsewhere. Especially if you are African American. What good is a talented business if their professionalism is this poor? read more

People RAVE!!! about this place! I not super into busy nails but I'm going out of town and wanted to try something new. I've seen their work on my friends and knew I wouldn't have any issues. I will not be returning! Reasons: 1. If I book mani pedi I want them at the same time - I was there for 3 hours! 2. Don't shame me for wanting short nails 3. Don't tell me something would look better AFTER the fact 4. How about you not drop your phone on my new overpriced nails Issa no for me! read more

My experience was very pleasant. The ambiance is nice, it's extremely clean with a full bar. I actually went twice in one week. I got my nails down the first and then I took my daughter back. My nails came out ok, not truly what I asked for but a nice version. However my daughter nails were another story. The guy told the tech that my daughter wanted a soak off with a full set when she came in for fill. He sat down and begin clipping away at her nails before he told us what he was doing. Long story short, she didn't like her nails and doesn't wish to return. I do plan on going back Update‼10/11/2019 Okay I had to come back and write an updated review after removing my nails.... NEVER HAVE I EVER removed acrylic or nexgen powder from my nails and they look like the pictures below! My nails are all shaped very nice and healthy! All I did was popped off (yes popped off nails not soaked) my acrylic nails and they look amazing! I did a quick Yelp review and looked only at the rating and decided to give it a shop. Walked in and immediately was aware that I'm was the only Asian here. Long story short, this ended up being a great experience. I had "Q" who did a fantastic job. When I say she did a great job, I mean, she was inspecting each one of my toe nails like a jeweler inspecting a diamond. She actually scrubbed the rough spots on my feet and took time to make sure the polish was on perfectly. Even though there were a few people in the shop, I did not once feel rushed or uncomfortable. Plus, one of the employees had her kid there who was seriously one of the cutest freakin kids I've ever seen running around offering me Ritz crackers. If you're in the area, come give these ladies some support. I was very impressed and will be back!

AWFUL!! This place was just FULL ON NASTY. I came in on my lunch break because my usual spot across the street was busy and I was on a time crunch. There was barely anyone in the store yet somehow the guy in the front took 10 minutes to even speak to me. I go to my chair and dip my feet. Two girls who look like they're barely in high school come in and immediately the guy comes up to them and starts flirting and sits them immediately. Like okay, I get it I'm a middle aged lady but I'm a paying customer too? And the guy was WAY TOO old to be even looking at these underaged girls. The girls get seated in chairs and people start on their pedicure right away. I'm still in my chair waiting mind you I already told them I was on my lunch break. The guy at the bar that has arms full of tattoos go over to the high school girls and ask if they want anything to drink and they say water he asks why water? Why not some alcohol? These girls are obviously not 21 but of course they're young and since he offered they asked for glasses of wine. He did not ID or even ask if they were 21 just gave them the alcohol. THIS IS RECKLESS since the girls drove here!! NOW HERE COMES THE WORST PART OF MY ALREADY TERRIBLE VISIT! The lady getting her toes done next to me is also getting a manicure. THE NAIL TECH TAKES THE BOWL OF WATER SHE WAS DIPPING HER HAND IN AND DUMPS THE DIRTY WATER INTO MY PEDICURE WATER!!! I was outraged!! That is absolutely disgusting and when I said something she did not even apologized just shrugged her shoulders. I put on myshoes myself and just left! I will never come back again and would not recommend to anyone! There is a reason they were slow that day and its because they have poor customer service and unsanitary methods!!! read more

It was my first time coming here and I really wanted to like this place and have this nail salon be my new spot. But unfortunately I'll have to keep looking for a better place. First of all, I called 4 days prior to set up my appointment for a pedicure and full set and When I got there the lady in the front said my name wasn't on their list. They still did the services for me however, I left pretty unhappy. I wanted pink and black nails and the guy who did my nails shaped them great don't get me wrong but did 2 different pink colors and it bugged me a lot. Also left me with black nail polish all around my cuticle and didn't even fix that part up. For the pink, he put on pinkish purple acrylic cement stuff as the base and I thought he was going to paint over the acrylic with the same pink polish he did the design with but didn't. by the time he was done I didn't even realize he was actually "finished" . Sure this probably sounds very minor but when you're being charged $175, you want to walk out feeling the best with your nails!!! Of corse I said something to him because I was being charged that much which I think is so over priced and unnecessary for what I got however, I did not have the time to have him fix it as I was already there for 3 hours and needed to leave. The Drinks and the actually salon and the customer service were great, but $175 for this? I don't think I'll be coming back here again. read more

I just did my nails there i show them the picture which is i scream shot to do the same it was my first time there after I saw them advertising on Instagram. The nail technician he was not in patience at all was every question I ask he is like whatttt but he did good job in my nails I get super surprised when I checked out it was $95 my total. The receptionist was super rude and I had to ask for water and no one get me anything just i need to know about that design I pay $95 is not that much fancy plus I keep it asking him to file my edge to be smooth and he did it so fast and still sharp. This place is scam they post pictures and does no do the same he had to go up and down he need to figure out how he do it and you need to ask how much will be before sets down. A friend recommended Oscar's so we drove 35mins away to come here and I tell you what ... it was definitely worth every penny spent. Spent 2.5 hours here but Mia did amazing work! she was very precise with the detail. What we requested was 100x better than expected! The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. The services are so high priced but the quality isn't worth it. I got gel nails and two days later one nail already chipped at the top. I've never had gel nails chip THAT early. Especially in less than 1-2 weeks. It's not worth making another drive down to the salon and asking if they can fix it since it might chip again anyway. Also the way Nikki filed the nail, it's now sore to touch and prone to infection. The manicure looks like seven coats of regular polish were put on instead of gel. No wonder why they tried to get me to pay extra for dip powder. read more

I had a pedicure vacay thanks to Jennifer. She did a fantastic job! I had the citrus pedicure on Thursday and I still feel relaxed. She is a pro when it comes to hot stones and massage. When you walk in you are quickly greeted and offered a cool drink or cocktail! Oscars is very organized and I've been a customer for 3 years! My favs are Kaye, Ruby, and Danny! I've been following Danny/Ruby for 5 years and this by far is my fav salon. I love their atmosphere and always walk away happy! read more

I paid $75 for a French top fill, but unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the results. The nails are uneven in shape, length, and the lines are also inconsistent. Additionally, I was initially told the service would cost $55 but ended up paying $75. Given this experience, I'm unlikely to return. read more
